I’ve had my physical authenticator for years. Suddenly now I have to log in and authenticate every time I go out of Wow again after the update to 10.1 (it’s been awhile). The physical authenticator works but is going to run out of power if this keeps up and then what. Is there a step by step exact instructions on how to change from the physical authenticator to what exactly?
It’s two processes.
- Remove the current authenticator.

You’ll want “never had” an authenticator, as in this case you’re not restoring an old one.
Make note of the restoration code & serial. This will let you migrate the authenticator to another device, in the event you have multiple devices, or lose your personal device.
