I’ve been using a Naga Epic wireless for almost the last decade, but it recently broke. Bought a new Razer Naga wireless and it was terrible so I returned it.
Then I saw this limited edition SteelSeries WoW mouse… is SteelSeries any good? I don’t have a lot of experience in recent years because, luckily, all my peripherals have lasted a long time. I know nothing about SteelSeries.
the question will be will you be using all the side buttons?
I used the Logitech G600 for YEARS before swapping to the Aerox 9 Wireless. It’s fine… The buttons on the side don’t feel as good as the G600, but it’s lighter and feels nicer in my hand overall.
Another issue with the side buttons is that they seem to die really quick with regular use… I’ve had to RMA mine twice in as many years because the 4 and 5 on the side become unresponsive, and it appears my 3rd one is starting to have the same issue. Their support is always pretty quick and they replace the mouse for free, but for the price, I feel like it shouldn’t need to be replaced yearly.
I just wish Logitech would release an updated G600 honestly.
I would prefer getting a warcraft branded mouse and keyboard.
For this my dream Legit WOW branded keyboard would be a logitech keyboard similar to the G15
I’m still trying to figure out why they stopped making it. Everyone I knew used them.

Yeah, seems odd that they decided to stop making it because I still own 1 that I use on a spare computer, and I know a lot people who love it and are now hoping theirs will never die.

This worries me. A lot of the reviews say the side buttons die fast. But, that limited edition mouse does look nice lol.
I bought it since I use the Aerox 9 currently and I wanted the in-game item from it anyways. So when the side buttons die on my current one (and they will, they already seems to be having issues responding sometimes) I’ll just swap to the WoW edition.
I’m so mad that they discontinued it. I love that far right tab click button and I can’t find another mouse with that and the side buttons. It’s extremely helpful for my rheumatoid arthritis.
For people with carpal tunnel that want an mmo mouse… the aerox 9 is their only option.
Specifically because it is wireless and half the weight of the other 12 side button mouse competition.
Does the Aerox 9 have the extra button with the extra right side button and the 12 left side buttons like the G600? I’d pay stupid amounts of money for a modern mouse with those buttons in place.

No, it doesn’t. I kind of miss having the “g-shift” button, but the mouse is lighter overall which feels nice.
It does have the 12 left side buttons though.
It has 12 side buttons for the thumb, a normal left right click, a dpi button and a multi function tilt wheel.
The real seller is it weighs 89 grams.
It doesnt feel like youre lifting a brick.
I’m right there with you. I need that extra right side button. It’s fantastic.
I found a brand new G600 on Ebay last month for $60 and snatched it before someone else could. It’s sitting safely in a box for if my current one dies, because nothing else I can find has that extra right side button.

Also yes the side buttons can go bad. Im on my 2nd aerox 9. Old one gave up on me. But before it did I had to extensively blow out the numpad on it to keep it registering presses. What did my first one in was the battery and the device just fried itself somehow.
The regular left and right clicks at least held up, unlike the razer naga trinity I used to use.
I paid $120 for my spare…really regret not scooping them up at Best Buy when they went down to $30 each a few years ago.
I regularly use Alt but Ctrl isn’t a natural button for me to press. I have my G-Shift bound as Ctrl and it allows to easily access Alt, Ctrl, and Alt+Ctrl variants of all buttons without having to contort my hand in strange ways. Just absolutely essential for me.

That’s the biggest mouse name I’ve ever seen.
Going to need a big box just for the name.
