Edit: Really can’t add links to images in posts?
Why is it necessary for me to run halfway across nazjatar or mechagon to stop being in combat?
Also why doesnt shadowmeld work half of the time?
Also why does my stealth in kitty form break to 120 mobs that are 10 yards away?
GROSS

I’ve experienced being stuck in combat for several minutes with zero enemies around. Had to completely log out of the game just to remove it once. Its only ever happened in BFA zones as far I can tell.
Sometimes I’ve found its a critter that I’ve managed to aggro’ed and combat won’t break no matter where I go in that area till I kill it. Other times its been enemies I’ve somehow aggro’ed halfway across the map.

In many spots it’s caused by getting agro with a Guard-Nazjatar-Mech. The Drowned Lands can be a bad spot if you get some agro from the Brennadam Guards.
Though I’ve seen it mysteriously just happen and it is crazy.
BFA zones are full of mobs, you have to plan your escape routes carefully.

I’ve also never had these issues either, I’d go as far as to say that night elf druids have the best chance out of any race/class combination to escape and run from combat.
I’m in Ashenvale. Killin ur alts.

I actually couldn’t drop combat so I hearthed to Boralus and guess what that didn’t work either lol. I was in combat in town all my procs going off and had to log out to remove it.
This happens way to often in expeditions as well which ruins the match. Honestly if you don’t have agro anymore and haven’t attacked in the last 15 secs just have all combat drop.
Dude, it’s been like this for all of BFA. The question I ask myself most often is “what the hell did I aggro, and why isn’t it trying to kill me?”
One of the first things that hit me when I first started playing Classic was that when I was done killing something, I was immediately out of combat. Gotta be one of the most annoying features of Retail - stuck in combat. Knock down a pod in Nazjatar… after it drops, stuck in combat for ~5 seconds.

Only once? Lucky you. I’ve closed the game window many times to get out of combat. Take a break, come back in 5 minutes and it’s fine again.
We should be able to right click our plate when in combat and see a list of things that are aggroing on us.
I also agree that Shadowmeld often does not drop threat.
