Stealth nerf to raid XP

The gold farm was pulling all the non-elites up the stair in the ball room and in the theater as a rogue (600+ gold an hour). The XP farm a people would pull all the spiders in the basement with the bats (not much gold involved here), run out, reset it, and go back in and do it again. A group of 4 people can run nexus for around 750-800k exp an hour spamming runs. Kara was 1.1-1.5 million exp an hour. So people would get to 74 roughly twice as fast.

You’re going to have to explain that one to me. I’ve been using RDF for like 12 years on retail. I haven’t run into Bots very often. When we do, we vote-kick them. So they are not running with us either way.

This thread has literally 0 to do with RDF. Are you okay?

I suppose I’ll just quest where you aren’t. Enjoy your farming. Better you than me. I’d just quit the game if griefing others is all the enjoyment I can find in it.

Yeah, I’m doing pretty well, thanks for asking. With folks not logging on in TBC as often, we’ve had a couple runs where we struggled to get our last raiders a bear, but we got one tonight, so that was fun. Not many people seem to check on their fellow players, so it’s refreshing to see you care.

I went off on a tangent earlier, but my previous comment you remarked on had more to do with RDF. With RDF and with rewards tied to dungeons I ran a lot of them. Without RDF and/or with rewards removed from Dungeons, I rarely run them. That was my point. And yeah, not in line with this thread, but that’s what I was lamenting with my tangent. I think it was more in line with players complaining about not being able to play how they want. I mentioned dungeon farming and questing, etc. and that statement you responded to was kinda a throwaway tangent. So no big deal.

I don’t farm on my Pallys or Mages as I don’t find that fun, so none of these nerfs to raid XP or dungeon solo’ing affect me.

That’s what the post you quoted me was talking about, pally, mages, rogues, and whatever else botting dungeons to sell gold.

im glad they did everything you said. keep crying.

such a hot and unique take. thanks for your worthless and shallow input

My apologies for upsetting you. I won’t bring it back up.

Actually, it was nerfed in cata prepatch, i remember, because kripp made a video on his race to world/server first 85, and he was gonna farm ICC for the first few levels, but they nerfed it on the ptr like, a couple days before launch, and he had to redo his whole gameplan

Raids wont even unlock until 11 days after the game launches…

You’re making it seem like it’s the only choice to level lmfao, you don’t even need to rush to be 80 before raids unlock.

Mmm pally and mage tears, exquisite.

dungeon diving is fun - reckon thats not allowed

This is why I’ll never play another game where Brian Birmingham is working on.

He literally has killed WAYYYYYY too many efficient player features going into WOTLK to ever make me want to play a game he is part of.

He is the worst thing that has happened to Classic.

look at all those aoe andys cryingthey cant cheese leveling holy molly…very cringe guys

Watching classic dev’s speed run killing the game is wild. Meanwhile everything to DF has been refreshing and most of the class devs have been offering feedback and updates on class trees.

We have had two expansions now and going into a third with classic. Its been clear from the start that the majority of people actually dislike a lot about the game and “speed run” to get to the real content. How are you still shocked by this?

no one is really that upset about not having to farm Kara spiders instead of leveling in wrath content.

If you are, grow up and find another hobby.

what im shocked about is some rando level 50 demon hunter retail player talking on classic forum

They’ll never remote the botters because they don’t want to lose subscription money.

Blizzard hurts real players more than botters because they know botters aren’t leaving.

It’s been this way forever. There’s still active botters on all servers. I’ve reported the same people who are clearly botters and real world gold sellers and none have ever been banned.

I even chatted with a few and they have communities talking about they never get banned and how safe It is.

All because blizzard wants money. They don’t care about us for the most part. It’s why they rarely post on these forums. Hilarious how little they interact with their player base. I understand not having GMs but to not have any active people on these forums shows the level of care.
