Stealth as a mechanic just doesn’t make sense

I think I speak for everyone here when I say stealth needs to be removed from the game.

It starts the player from an advantage right away with no counter play unless you are playing the right class. How is that fair? No one should be unable to fight back. It is just a cowardly mechanic and stupid in all. Stealth drinking and stealth cc is the worst of it all.

We must make it so stealth ability is just removed from the game and just deleted. It is the only way to solve this issue. What to give stealth characters in replacement for no stealth? Nothing because now they are on a fair playing field. To be frank, they don’t need it anyway because they are bs specs to begin with.

Stealth should only work within 2 yards of cover.

stealth is fine, just buff eyes to spawn more often, last longer, and remove the debuff it gives you making you take more damage

Add eyes in BGs as well and make mechanics that are supposed to see through invisibility like Eye of Kilrog for example, Actually able to see through stealth

replace eye with an illimunating mortar

When you know a rogue is there because they literally started “hiding” in front of you.
You get to sit there and wait for them to pop out so you can pretend to be surprised like your girlfriend threw you a party and your friend spoiled the surprise.

As a 50% up time stealth class, I could go either way on this one, but Blizzard wont remove stealth, not stealth pots, not Shadomeld, not spec or class stealth options.

If we shifted into a world that no longer had stealth mechanics I could see many currently great specs that never had class/spec stealth, winning even more when TWW gives them more damage, more cc immunity, more mobility, and more CC.

No stealth, no pillars, no juking kicks, if you miss kick it’s instant reset anyways, precog removed, no caster mobility, cyclone erased and dispellable.

Man PvP would be so fixed then.

I agree with a few of your points, but I don’t believe kicks or ccs should be in the game.

Though, I do think how stealth works needs to change. For one, rogues shouldn’t have an improved stealth of any type. Stealth classes should have an equal chance of exposing the other stealth. Anyone within 3-5 yards should be able to see a stealthed player. If they want to get creative, make it so stealth improves if you’re not moving.

There should be more tools overall for exposing players in stealth. It’s funny, I remember playing my rogue in BC and stealth at 1/2 speed all the way across the bg. Back when lock fel puppy had paranoia. Good times.

No pillars, Adroi. Pillars are for weirdos who don’t want to fight. They ruin the spirit of arena, you see.

Pillars are a core fundamental of arena… you could say… they are a pillar of arena!

Wrong again, which is a pattern I’m noticing with you. Why are you defending pillars - is it because you hate the fighting spirit of arena and want to juke kicks around LOS and not fight with cooldowns!??!?

Mostly because I would die if I had to face tank casters. I mean, if you want casters to completely dominate… :frowning:
