Staying here?

Does anyone plan to stay here long term?

Yup. New home for our small group.

I missed launch, as I was out of town. This opening up yesterday was perfect for me. I’m sticking around with a few friends for sure.

I certaintly hope so!

Half debating starting a guild with my friends who made the migration with me, and the other half knows how much work that is.

Im in it. Gonna stay until/if it gets to thin.

I just hope I can get enough people to have some actual PvP if the population turns thin. It was VERY busy last night couple of hours after it’s launch. It’s VERY thin early part of today. That could be layering though, but it was also fairly quiet (not much chatter).

I plan on staying as long as queues don’t get stupid long.

I have a guild WarCry. We have about 25 people who came back to play Classic. We initially wanted to stay with people on Herod but only 6-7 could get in at a time so we all made characters here last night. Looks like we are going to stay as well. I hope the population stays as we really don’t want to move anymore.

I’m definitely staying here. At first me and my few friends wanted to get back together with our old guild, etc. But then we realized we aren’t really into raiding and stuff anyways. We’re more into the leveling and PvP.

If it gets too thin later on I’m sure they’ll allow server transfers/merging. As of now, they just improved the queue times across all servers and Herod still has a queue of about 10k people. Definitely too old to be dealing with stuff like that these days. I barely have time to play as it is, not going to waste my time waiting in queues for almost no reason.

Also, the servers can hold 3 or 4 times the amount of people the game could have back in 2004, so even if a realm is listed as ā€œlowā€ it’s still pretty populated, especially compared to 2004.

I also think that because this server is more of an outcast crowd, the guilds and groups that do form are going to be more organic and natural, rather than 10 super guilds that play EVERY MMO and no life it to death on one server doing everything.

Overall I’m happy with this server. It was so crowded regardless.

After playing about 10 levels with my Tauren druid yesterday, I’d say that I really do love the atmosphere and community on Benediction. I didn’t really see too many inflammatory things going on in gen chat, and people are eager to group up and deal with enemies that are more difficult to defeat solo (although Rambleblade Ravine was a disaster trying to find quillboars, as you would expect, but people were polite and formed a line to defeat the main boss, some forming a group to get the task done faster). It’s probably one of the nicer realms in the PvP world, and I’m at peace with that!

Definitely. Benediction is the server for people that don’t want to remote log in to save a spot for themselves after work / school. These are the kind of people I want to play with.

Same here. The guild I rolled with on Stalagg is sticking to it with that server, but there are multiple hour queues every night unless you log in early. Rolled Horde on here and am really enjoying it.
