If they cannot queue as a 5 man group then how does it not stop a group of 5 friends from playing together?
Why do you put quotations around the word friends?

By what I propose you can queue with 5 man groups all you want, you just can’t specific queue for the 10 man instances unless you have less players (I’d recommend 3). You can still specific queue for 15 mans or larger and you can still get into 10 mans on a random queue, but you cannot specific queue 5 men into 10 man instances which is where most of the problems seem to arise.
EDIT: They could even raise maximum party size to 10 in 40 mans, but that might require some retooling of the queue system.

I just don’t think it’s necessary man. They probably don’t specific que and the 10 man is what they get sometimes. If we start trying to make the que system more complicated with splitting then que times go up (argument behind removal of blacklist).
All in all I think there are way bigger issues with PvP that should get addressed. This is waaaaay down at the bottom of important issues.

I get what you’re saying, but I hardly doubt Blizz will do that. They made it even easier to queue with friends by adding quickjoin.

I said the same thing but there are a lot of people bothered by it (this isn’t the only active thread on the subject) and I was looking for a win-win solution. You don’t want to be viewed in the same way as twinks, if a simple fix could alleviate that impression I think it would be good for players who queue in premade groups honestly without affecting their game at all.
I get a disproportionate amount of 10 man BGs queuing as a healer, often with a premade on my team. Not proof at all just evidence.
We would adjust specific queues of 120s as well, I was hoping to slip that in without anyone noticing. You’re probably right, though. It’d seem easy to add another conditional statement but I get the impression that the software is far more bloated than we know.
People can view me any way they want. If bnet buds quick join me, I’m not turning them down. My self worth doesn’t come from a video game. Also, I had no problems with twinks when they were in early expansion. Leveled up through BGs while they were still with xp on and the power they had was so over blown on these forums.

It’s not a question of how they view you, it’s how they portray you that could burn you. I assume the proposal wouldn’t affect you in any way?
How they portray me has no effect on me. It’s just randoms on the internet who complain about everything. And yea I don’t specific queue.

There was definitely a greater mandate with unrestricted twink queues, how far they took it was the issue with which people petitioned Blizzard.
I leveled through with these twinks there. It wasn’t bad at all. Same with premades, I’m not seeing these gy stomps.

It’s not win or lose for me, it’s the negative impact that they have. They come in with their own agenda, treat us like NPCs. I don’t think the problem is big enough to mandate a change, but I can see where it could be taken to that level. Some other people feel it has, if the mandate should arise it’d be nice to discuss compromises both sides would agree with.
I don’t see premades having a negative impact. The games where people on my team claim we were “beat by a premade” was not the case. We just didn’t play well at all. I guess it’s just easy to blame a loss on that factor since it’s out of your control then to blame you and your team, for some.

It’s not about win or lose, I just don’t like playing with premades. I’d rather lose terribly than win by stomp. It’s an exception rather than a rule that playing with or against a premade team improves my solo queue experience whether they’re on my side or maybe on the other, but I feel that’s not enough to campaign that they face restrictions in the face of WoW being an MMO.
The whole social aspect fails if they have more a negative effect than a positive one.
I’ve been in many stomps where there’s no premade on our side. It’s random BGs, they’re bound to happen.

That’s why I try to limit my concerns mostly to when they’re on my team how they negatively affect play, you can ask them if they’re together (and I do).

Was in two yesterday. One was in EOTS where my team was getting farmed at BE tower (until they lost it and starting rezzing at zone in).
Again, “I’m not seeing it therefore it isn’t happening” is poor logic.

That’s not a premade issue. Those happen with solo queues too.
