that they did. and i can pinpoint the exact moment to. right around the changing of the guard at the start of legion. tom finished some nice work with legion then dude took over that position and then you can see the devastation that was left in his wake xpac after xpac since.

I actually feel the opposite about the toxic behavior. Ever since the social contract, it has become boring as hell. Everyone is afraid to say anything “offensive”, so chat is pretty much dead now.

The blizzard you know and love is over on the D4 team…that game isn’t perfect but at least they didn’t delete everyone’s stash and then say “whoops there is nothing we can do”.

July 9th, 2008: the merger between Activision Inc. and Vivendi games is finalized
July 25th, 2013: Activision Blizzard effectively buys out Vivendi games (dropping their shareholder stake in Activision blizzard from 63% to 11.8%)
May 22, 2014: Vivendi games sell off half their remaining stake, reducing their shareholder stake to 5.8%. They would completely exit 2 years later.
Our guild lost hundreds of thousands of items. Stacks and stacks of materials and crafted items. The guild leader recieved a stack of 3 cloth and like 2 rep tokens in the mail. Really took the wind out of our sails for this expansion.

Nothing has come down the pipe in a LONG time that is better than WoW, despite so many supposed “WoW killers” that have come and gone.

Only reason I’d quit is because of the balancing and that’s a completely valid reason. Some specs straight up don’t work and then sometimes your spec does work well and Blizz takes a hammer to it.

FFXIV been consistently outperforming WoW for years now, but go on.

It was but The new expansion made me try WoW again after 4yrs away. I made it to level 93 and it was a snooze. Couldn’t get into the story.
