Starting to get depressed now

Another balance patch. My already jacked up Mistweaver gets 2 buffs including a flat 6% on all healing. My priest? … nothing. crickets. I am so tired of hearing people say priest isn’t getting any buffs because it is in a good place. IT IS NOT!

When disc priest outperforms Holy in PVE content (Keys) you have an issue.

I run 10 keys on my monk already and yet I am getting buffed? I jump on priest and fool around with many different talent builds and it always ends up feeling the same no matter what I do, In the end the kit is so unbalanced and undertuned that you end up having to plant feet and depend on flash heal as all the aoe heals are so weak and you don’t have time to do anything other than lightweave. it is sad that the only spell with enough hps and speed to be consistent is just lightweaving with flash heal and bouncing it between 2 targets. It feels so non interactive and just doesn’t perform well in general.

Also this having to endlessly cast renew just to get a crap 6% healing buff on everyone is getting old as well. Holy feels so horrible. At least it is starting to shine in PVP now so it isn’t just a raid and done character but I feel it needs some serious attention when it comes to M+ tuning.

Is it? Haven’t tested the PoM and Renew buff, but I’ve been feeling my FH and Serenity doing almost no healing at all.

A single mortal strike debuff is just gg to your healing overall.

It’s criminal that Prayer of Healing and Circle of Healing are so bad right now. I also wish I could take Circle of Healing without being required to take Prayer of Healing as well. That’s probably something I’d like to see fixed in the hypothetical Priest rework if that ever comes around.

I play Holy and I’ve just stopped doing keys tbh. It’s so miserable.

I like how the buffs to Shadow so far have just been undoing nerfs from earlier on in the expansion. Holy and Disc have been fairly neglected also. At least Disc performs well in most content outside of raid. That’s it’s saving grace.

I’m still laughing at out of combat passive regen healing more than Renew.

I wouldn’t give up hope yet. 11.0.7 should be showing up on the PTR soon.

Why is that?

Hasn’t Disc outperformed Holy in keys quite literally since Legion? With the main exception of SL S4 where a number of temporary things made Holy cracked af?

Mind sharing some copium?

Yeah personally I don’t have any hopium for .0.7

My prediction since beta is priest would end up getting some changes in 11.1 or 11.2.

My crack theory post-xpac launch is that .1 or .2 is still the likely spot for changes - but I also think it’s kinda likely we’ll see sweeping healer changes again.

Disc is literally the key healer, has been since keys came out, giant on demand AOE burst heals, DPS that saves 2 min.

Kowalski, Analysis

Elaborate. I can say OVERWHELMING CORRECTITUDE that you cannot.

I wouldn’t really argue that they have good AoE burst healing. – but don’t you find it a “little” ironic that a Disc Priest can heal multiple better than a Holy Priest?

It heals 5 players better than holy, it falls behind 10+ players, and at 15+ players it’s not even comparable.

It seems fair.

Holy should be viable in more than just raids.

It’s also viable in m+ and pvp. You’re confusing viable, with optimal.

Which always happens lol. Every single healing spec in the game can clear all content needed to get top end gear (in mythic + anyways) will you cleat the highest level in mythc+ on a priest? No. You need a shaman for that.

The very tippy top of all content will always be based around meta champs but everyone can gear up to the best gear without hitting the tippy top of content

The top top key timed was with disc, you can just take a dps shaman for poison cleanse.

Prot pal, disc, Aug, enh, dk is the god comp now.

I can see holy paly getting up there with tuning, they have group wide Dr.

It’s not looking great from what I’ve seen :frowning:
