So the real reason on why only 1 boost per account

No, that player doesn’t. It took one statement for that dawning moment of oh I have remove curse. Not an immense amount of time in dead content on tbc servers in which they may never use the damn button.

Blizzard limiting boosts just further enables stocks/Mara/strat boosts which encourage people to buy gold and shortcut everywhere. This then impacts the games economy.

They made the limit of one boost to appease people who treat this game like it’s their life. But damned if you do damned if you don’t. Someone may make an angry YouTube video of it, or suckle Asmongold’s teet some more.

I mean it’s silly for players to be arguing about a product feature made by turn key multi billion dollar operation…

I would happily level from 1-60 in the old world if I could skip Outlands leveling. I can’t stand it. I’m so sick of boars. The only zone I like in the Outlands is Nagrand. I still love the old leveling experience and I loved WotLK leveling experience, but Outlands is brutal.

See I loved everything about the TBC experience! lol like a classic dark fantasy novel!

so do you know how dumb you sound saying that? always gotta argue against blizzard even if it makes yourself look dumb… if blizz wanted a blatant cash grab they would sell as many boosts as you want per account. not limit you to one. nice try tho.

I bought second, third and fourth accounts and boosted a character on each just for the 25 gold it gives.

Then why not just have it so everyone can create a 58 character? Why sell it if you want people to just play tbc?

Yeah I have bought 3 accounts and 3 boosts so far to try out different classes, still barely ever log on lmao. I’m just a wotlk baby true and true, can’t get used to TBC without LFG/dual spec. And classic vanilla I couldn’t get used to either because of the INSANE no life PvP system.

Once wotlk drops though i’ll prob play a ton again, that’s when I started originally. For now i’m just filling the void with old school runescape as always.

I just wanna be able to log on, no life some bg’s and buy my honor pvp gear set, and maybe do some heroics, but I don’t have time to find groups the old fasioned way.

They want you to buy another sub if you want another boost, basically doubling up. I never bought the first boost though and probably never will.

So you’re saying they didn’t do it for the money?

IMO, the one-boost limit and ineligibility of blood elves and draenei was an attempt to soften the inevitable outrage from the purists and to make Blizzard look less like hypocrites. So they could spin it as TBC actually begins in Outland and this is just a one-use feature to help newcomers quickly join their friends.

I don’t necessarily hold it against them. I understand that they are a for-profit company whose purpose is to make money. But I’m also not going buy their explanation/spin, either.

Eh, I think it’s more of a case of leaving an “in case of emergency; break glass” option for boosting poor-performing quarters.

See a quarter not doing well?..

In order to help our players make the most of their journey through Outlands. We’re increasing the limit per account for Level Boosts from 1 to 2. Now’s the best time to make an alt or level that bank alt!

((Then just keep increasing the limit by 1 for each quarter; that’s like what…8 quarters you can artificially boost via level boost sales. Just in time for Wrath Classic to roll out, and boost.))

Never cared for the level boost because there’s no need for it in TBCC. Anyone who think it is, is delusional. Leveling in classic vs TBCC is vastly different, and easier. without having to go in dungeons multiple times.

AHHAHAHAHAHA

Even when your own logic defies you.

They did it for the people who didn’t want to bother with Classic vanilla, but still wanted to play TBC (and $).

Subbed Player: Come on, join us, let’s do TBC and then raid like we did in 2007!
Unsubbed Player: I did like TBC the best, but nah, I don’t want to level to 60…again… just to do TBC.
Subbed Player: No problem! Just boost a char to 58 and you’ll be caught up.
Unsubbed Player (now subbed): Oh cool! Let’s do it.

that doesnt make sense.

when i joined tbc for the first time i had to play vanilla. it was part of my tbc experience.

if what u said was true, then the boost should be to 70, because what i want is to play arenas.,

but that doesnt make sense

what makes sense is taking a chance go get extra money.

that money was being won by mages boosting. now its being won by blizz. profit. wake up

(Sniffs the air)

Anyone else smell something dead and rotten? Oh yes, it’s the “Boosts are bad” dead horse, back around for another tour of duty.

Everyone get out your beat’n sticks and take a whack at it one more time.

You mean they said they quit. Remember - the forums aren’t real life.

I’m aware of how people live to lie…

Let’s also remember you have an additional 12 lvl mostly weeks long experience to learn if they are that new. If you can’t figure something out in that time chances are you won’t get much better with the 1-58 leveling.
