So the real reason on why only 1 boost per account

I would love to see some quantifiable data on what leveling from 1-58 teaches you about your class or the game that 59-70 doesn’t.

Impossible data to collect… would require at the very least an extensive look at the person’s WoW background. If the player has 5-15 years of play time and wants to boost but has been off for a few years then almost nothing is missed. But a very new player being tossed into end game will be lost.

If you can’t read and put spells on an action bar and can’t learn to play in the time it takes to level from 58 to 70 the experience of 1-58 isn’t changing much for you.

I beg to differ. These types of studies are done all the time. You just need to get a study group together with a variety of players ranging from 15 year vets to people who have never played before, then interview them about what they might have learned from 1-58 vs. 59-70.

Just becuase no one has ever done it before, does not make it impossible to do in the future.

My point is that people seem to be experts on the topic without actual data to back any of their claims up. Anyone that comes here claiming “Leveling 1-58 is key to the game for X reason” is talking straight out of their backsides. It is just a truckload of Grade A BS. Some people just have a problem differentiating personal opinion from fact.

I you are correct that’s it’s possible and not impossible like I had stated but what I should have said is that it is improbable because they disbanded the paid beta testers years ago…

Ah, ok, I get what you were going after there. That makes sense then. But someone could still do their own independent study. Heck, it might make a great college paper.

There is more than enough reason and Incentive to do so!

People that played back then probably have wives, kids, full time jobs, and cant dump tons of time into leveling 1-60 now. I for one, am one of those people that falls in that category. I cant stay up until 4am grinding out raptor scales or running from one continent to the other to complete a quest. I of course, made a boosty boi warrior because im not doing that grind on a warrior, again (WotLK), and so I was able to enjoy TBC content with my guild by being a pocket tank for them when needed with it.

This worked with exactly 0 of my friends that I used to play with in TBC. All they kept saying to me when I brought it up was some variation of, “I grew up, why can’t you?”

That sucks. Never understood what was immature about playing WoW. Many of the people who say that have no problem pretending they’re a soldier, fighting in fake wars - we just do it with Elves and Dwarves.

Sorry you cant afford it. Simple fact is if you could, you would have an awareness of your own personal hourly rate. 4 days played time is better spent at 60+ in TBC.

This is probably the worst response on here. I can afford it, I do very well financially. The argument from the start was not that people who boost are bad, and I made clear that I understood why they do it, it was what causes the boosts. To add to your lack of logic, people who can afford it, and have money, would probably see this is a complete waste of money and would rather take the $100 to add to their investments, instead of giving $100 to a company that has been milking their player base.
