Anyone else going to do it? Just want that 1-80 Journey one more time without rushing anything and smelling all the Roses, not just a few.

I tried to do it.
Unfortunately the queues made the fresh server I rolled on impossible to play, so I just boosted on a different server with no queues.
If they make another true fresh server, then i’ll probably roll on that one

That would be an option indeed.
I will level my main to 80 and then do some stuff before my sub runs out. If they ever add RDF and I return I would love to level some other alts. A shaman perhaps from 1-80 would be fun. Also a rogue. Leveling alts in WOTLK was one of my favorite things.

I can barely stand it with Joyous Journeys active, there’s no way in hell I’m doing it after it goes away
Here I sit with my mage on the hill next to the Scarlet Monastery summoning stone just waiting for literally anything not a dps that wants to run it…Got one group that then kicked me 20 seconds later I guess to invite another mage that had a tank with them, I wouldn’t know they literally didn’t say a word

Same! Once RDF comes I’ll be going crazy with alts. It’s so much fun to get to 15 ASAP with every class and then enjoy the dungeon experience.
I don’t want to derail this guys thread and turn it into an RDF one but its not even about just grinding dungeons. I like being able to break up the questing with dungeons too. And without RDF that usually means traveling like 20 minutes to get to the dungeon and then another 20 minutes back to the questing zone I was in after. It just isn’t worth doing without RDF while leveling.

My 1-80 journey started in vanilla classic went on through TBC and will continue in WotLK. Starting a level one at the beginning of a new expansion is a waste of time imo.
I do that too, quests with dungeons weaved in. You kinda have to as a DPS anyway since the queues meant if you just waited for dungeons you weren’t being productive with your leveling.
But I just mean playing all the classes in the first dungeon, jumping right in and seeing how they feel without having to organize anything. That’s always fun to me.
I have 4 70s, 62 and 42. I’ve done that enough i feel
Oh no I definitely will not be doing it again. I leveled one up legit and boosted one to 58. Both are 70 now and im only going to sink time into those 2.
I haven’t touched Classic much, but I kind of want to do the pre-cata questing again.
when they put RDF for leveling levels, I’ll be there. I just don’t have it in me to run another alt through quests alone.
No one is gonna re-roll to 1 the day of Wrath especially now buff is gone. Have fun for an hour.
nah I did it played the originial versionn of wotlk… I had fun but its time to move on…
