Starter account help

So when i heard about wow classic i made a starter account to refamiliarize myself with the game, i made a character and got to level 20. Now, ive reactivated my original account with help from customer service and set up a subscription again.

Problem is, the level 20 character i made on the starter account cannot be deleted, and i want to either delete/remake that character on my “real” account or transfer it over. The character has a postmaster mail, and cannot be deleted because of that, but being a starter account it cannot access the mailbox to get rid of the mail either.

Is there any way around this? Would like to keep that character’s name.

You could submit a ticket, sometime Blizzard will give you a couple of hours game time to sort things out. OR you can wait 30 days for the mail to expire.

You can also ask them to delete the mail in a ticket so you can delete the character.

For future reference to anyone stumbling across this thread, unsubed accounts now go into starter account status. You can make and play any character up to level 20 on an unsubbed accounts. No need to create a starter account the check things out.

I had to make the starter account because my original account was banned/suspended. I quit back in 2008 or so and a year or two after that someone apparently hacked my account, but i never bothered dealing with it because i hadn’t planned to play again. I had to have customer service help get the account back and running again
