I figured you can macro /startattack into some of your spells and be able to auto-attack during a fight. It will be useful if enemy melees are constantly chasing you. It will be even more useful if you are a shaman and /startattack will allow you to actually start using your shield and hopefully block a few hits.

i do this with all of my toons… it autotargets when you start spamming and don’t have anyone focused.
the only downside is if you run dungeons and such and aren’t paying attention, you tend to pull extra packs, lol.

What does this do?
It just targets an enemy, sort of like how /startattack does.
Is startattack akin to right clicking something to swing at it? I’m asking/wondering if it’s worth making a macro to startattack and cast blade of justice in case I want to kill a totem but am on global or blade is on cd
that exactly what it does. if you’re on gcd / out of resources for the button you’re pressing /startattack will begin your auto attack

caster auto attack should stun for .5 seconds
