Start a new character or not?

Not sure if it is because of the Shadowlands update, I’ve experienced quest not showing up for BFA - Stuck after Uniting Kul Tiras - Quest Overseas Assassination not showing up

I have a level 42 Demon Hunter created before the update. Should I just delete it and create a new one to start fresh so that I might not involve quest bugs or it doesn’t matter?

4 hour maintenance on Tuesday if you want to wait til its finished to see what happens.

i leveld alt fine, unlocked wqs, neck and cape

Thanks guys! I’ll probably wait the Tuesday’s update and see if that removes my quest not showing up problem then.
