Singapore player here too from Thaurissan using Starhub. I thought i was the only one having this latency issue a few days ago. Then so many people from my guild started having this problem too. Cant’t run raids or m+. Even doing WQ was impossible sometimes.

The game is completely unplayable since the past 3 days. Was hoping the tue maintenance would solve it but its even worst. Now can’t even log in. The character screen only has UI buttons and a black screen and takes a crazy long time to just load my char. Please solve asap. We are paying subs.

I hope people manage to capture WinMTR and send email to support as per instructions.
For me, running WinMTR for 10 mins seem to dilute the problem. When lag happens, I started WinMTR, the packet loss could go as high as 20% for the first minute. However, running it 10 mins seems to lower the loss to 2%, which probably may seem not so epic. But really, when the lag happens, it is not playable at all.
I do hope to capture the WinMTR again.

So I just did another WinMTR as my game is lagging hard now. It seems like the problem became worst after 1 night. I am reaching a netloss % of 9 to 10.

Still no change. It’s ok take your time it’s not like we’re paying a subscription and not being able to utilize what we’re paying for.

Game is still unplayable ): Can’t even do islands and getting deserter buff cause got kicked ): Black screen of death at character selection. Login problems due to loading screen stuck after getting out of an instance or after logging back in.

The lag is unreal. Its so bad, that its unplayable for almost a week,
Looks like im not getting the love rocket now
Please help to fix it soon, paid sub to wow, least we can get is a quick fix to the issue

Guys, i think ranting here won’t help. The blue post above has laid down a shortcut for us to get network engineer to look at this directly. We just need to take this rare opportunity to help them with our WinMTR data. I’ll capture one when ready as well. Let’s just follow the instructions.

I did a open route to 103.4.115.248 from work with a professional Singtel ISP.

So it seems 103.4.115.248 is supposed to be local singapore, but goes through Japan , Hong kong and France, lol

i dk if they read this issue or not. I hope after the regular maintenance it will be better, but i have never been so wrong.
The spike increase to 10k now

Does not occur in open world, only instances, when dropping out from instances, after about 5-10 minutes the latency drops to regular amounts
Have not tried without addons.
The highest spike I saw was just prior to a DC, where I hit 58k. The average highest is 20k, and will tend to settle at 5-8k.

I found a temporary fix to the issue. I used this VPN called WTFast, it has a free 3 day trial. So far no lag or whatsoever. In fact, the ping is better for Singapore players. Can use this free 3 day trial to tideover, while blizzard tries to resolve the issue. This is a gaming VPN, so it affects WOW only. So using discord at background will not affect it at all. Just tested it with a M+ run, no lag at all.
