Amazing art and production that is wasted by terrible storyline and writing.

I just used Star Wars as a comparison. People do this all the time, comparing WoW to final Fantasy, Runescape, etc etc… In order to emphasis their criticisms of WoW and be specific.
BFA is a copy pasta of MoP SoO storyline.

Almost like how the Star Wars 7,8,9 just copied the plot structure of 4,5,6 right down to blowing up a death star in the first one, fighting an AT-AT style battle in the second, destroying a radar dish in the third…
Yeah…it seems like both franchises are recycling and not really moving forward the story.
I had heard somewhere that was done with purpose and intent, as they wanted to bring the original Star Wars story to a new generation of fans who hadn’t experienced the original movies.
The sequel movies seem completely unnecessary and doesn’t seem to move the Star Wars story forward at all.
Both have great music and inspire people to spend money, for good or bad. lol
Very true on both counts. And also both franchises have those crazed die hard fans who will spend and not think.

Yet they managed to make the plots worse. I don’t understand why people praise TFA to the skies. TLJ just deals with what TFA passed off to it.
Maybe so but the most interesting aspect of the new SW is Ben Solo’s story arc. And Poe and Finn should have had a greater role. Lots of missed opportunity to move in a new direction.
I mean the originals are timeless. I watched them as a young child in the late 90s/early 2000s. I feel like it was a mistake and they should have just given the kids that original story by maybe remastering the original movies, and letting these new movies be their own, new story.
The original triology is timeless like a greek epic it will appeal to any generation.
They were all flaming garbage if you ask me.
Both have trash fandoms that deserve a kick in the nards for being creepy and gross douche canoes.
The sequels need scrapped, but if I had to choose, I’d take TLJ over TFA. Mark Hamill was fantastic.
I was just glad they included him. I feel like he should’ve been given a much larger role.

Baby Yoda is a more interesting and dynamic character than Sylvanas or anybody from the new Star Wars movies
Less everyone else and more Luke? I’m all for it. 
He carried that movie like he did Yoda back in the day.
