Stacking lvl 70's in the 60-69 bracket

Something seemed off, horde just getting stomped, like no contest, not even close stomped for a days in a row. So I started looking up the alli’s in the BG and almost every match had at least 3 lvl 70 in full gear and a few matches were half the group was lvl 70. seem a bit redic to me to allow a bg’ to que when 30-50% or more even are max lvl characters. All they’re doing is stacking lvl 70 where technically 80% of the raid could be max lvl fully geared toons q’ing into a bunch of lowbie 60’s. all it takes is 1 fully geared heal and 1 fully geared dps to make it almost impossible to win the match. Not sure what the solution is but its clear alli’s been abusing this for quick wins/honor. Only a matter of time Horde starts exploiting in the same way which would basically ruin the lvling bracket, which is basically how it feels now is broken.

Maybe create an option to only be que’d into BG’s with ppl who are in your same level bracket? That way the ppl who have lvl 70’s in their group are fighting other groups with 70’s.

6 games in a row against the same premade where they have 4 lvl 70s and one person in the 6 bracket. If that isn’t busted IDK what is. There comes a point when you aren’t just a max lvl character q’ing with friends, you a max lvl character exploiting the que.

Solution is simple, buy a lil bit of gear from the AH, even the lvl 61 gear will do great all through 61-69. I did this on my monk and it worked great.

I also que’d into the 61-69 bracket as a fully geared monk and I had the same health / stats as I did at 69 with my lvl 61 gear. Along with the stat squish, I don’t get to use any pvp trinkets. Honestly wasn’t fun for me at all lol

So yeah, buy a lil gear, and if you notice an enemy lvl 70 in there, just abuse the fact that they can’t trinket out of anything. GL

I have the gear I can earn and buy, I’ve seen them trinket out of cc’s many times. Q’ing the same premade 6 times in a row is ridiculous to an extent only equaled by the fact that 4 out the 5 ppl in their group are lvl 70, its not true you stats get squished to their lvl, because max geared toons gets ‘squished’ to the max lvl a lvl 60 can get which is 316 or 326. It’s ridiculous to me to think that the ques at this point the xpac are so dead they need lvl 70 to pad the que times. Yes, lvling thru bg’s is niche, but abusing the fact you can que with a lvl 60 to honor farm is ridiculous.

Just had the same experience. I have no idea why Blizzard thought this was a good idea and would not be exploited. Was the same in SL with covenant abilities and gear. Can we stop max level toons from joining any other bracket please?

All you do is buy the 800 gold trinkets in oribos and you get 1500 stamina

Trinkets are not going to help against fully pvp geared 70’s in the 60-69 bracket.

Yes it is lol, I was sync qing with my friend, full honor gear he had 172k hp in the 61-69

I had 175

Consistent premade groups/community groups are just bullies and griefers in new clothing. They will come and gaslight the entire place incessantly; claiming that “it’s about playing with friends” and “the true benefit is playing with bros and finding that great other premade to battle against” but 95% of the time it’s 3-5 guys (who are honestly typically quite good - usually 1800-2100+ in a few ladders) kicking the hell out of uncoordinated, under-geared and less experienced casuals because it’s fun/easy for them.

Doesn’t matter that their fun ruins the game for 10-15 other people every 10 minutes, nor does it matter to them that continually turning new players off of PVP (and by that the game) is killing participation and will eventually ruin PVP in general. It’s about hanging with bros in disc, and picking on strangers who never had a chance in the first place.

(These are the kind of kids who give you the Mad Catz controller at sleep-overs but try to convince you “that it’s actually way better” and bring full-auto gear to single-shot pick-up night at paintball fields. Fun to them never considers anyone else because in their projected view, they are the main characters.)

Best of luck OP; only way Blizz fixes things like this is if the data tells them to (eg. if 90% of random BGers are solo-queuers who only PVP and suddenly 25% stop entirely and unsubscribe, Blizz will look into why and likely make changes - if 90% of the queue are premaders, well it’ll likely just stay like this forever)

Got the trinkets. 166K, 175K with fort. Still died in stun from the 366 ilvl 70 rogue. Made no difference. The pre-made still rolled over the level 60’s team.

It’s dumb.

Authentic Characters with SL PVP gear will be much more viable than fresh DF players leveling through. It is possible something will change this week with BOE access.
Get your 3 pieces of crafted 316s, Ring and Neck if possible. We only need JC 1 for neck so it might be worth it. Either way, try and enchant your stuff and drop a gem in sockets.
It’s a rough one, no doubt. Removal of the PVP gear wasn’t groovy at all. Plus not being able to turn xp off to pre gear is another issue.

Everyone dies in a rogue stun that’s not exclusive to leveling brackets LOL

You are missing the point. Why does Blizz allow full honor geared level 70 players in the leveling brackets? How is this a better playing experience? For those leveling it is not.

im a 60 and i farm everyone in the 60 bracket. This my bracket

The amount of time it takes to level 61-70 with battlegrounds (people broke it down on another “forum”) is more than twice the time it takes to quest/dungeon to 70, with a ~50% win rate. You’re choosing to hang around in unbalanced (worse) pointless brackets.

Yea the brilliant trend of speed leveling, then hitting 70 without any honor…
As poorly designed the Sync system is, you will be better off at 70 by eking out some wins beforehand. Or at least gather up some gold for PVP greens.

Your last paragraph is spot on, and should be the closing argument for virtually 99% of the complaint threads you read on the forums. All this back and forth bickering over 100’s of subjects boils down to one thing…

This is not the same Blizzard you grew up with 20 years ago. The choices in game play a company like this makes, are vastly influenced by “potential revenue”.

Its like that line in Fight Club where the narrator is explaining the “car recall formula” . Its just numbers.

Blizz caters to streamers.

Streamers need to dominate in order to get subs.

More subs mean more eyes on WoW, and the streamers they cater to.

There’s your current state of the game.

I feel like Rogues are currently flying under the radar when talking about OP specs. My rogue is completely obliterating people. It’s disgusting. But because I’m never top damage in a BG no one seems to notice.

You know party sync players use a stat template right? They could be wearing BIS gear for lvl 70 and it wouldn’t change their stats. The stat template is roughly equivalent to x6-x7 of whatever bracket they sync into.

So your basically just complaining about a lvl 67ish premade. Which is fair, fighting premades in random BGs does suck.

Actually x9.
Here is the kicker, they have much deeper Talent trees than anyone in the Bracket can obtain. This is how it was working since pre-launch. End Game(ish) Talents in 10-19 as one example.
In 61-69 players most players will not catch up to the ilvls. We can’t turn experience off, plus the SL PVP Honor gear was removed. No BOAs.
Facing x9 in groups with 70s access to Talents at 61-69.
All of this in brackets which do not have any matchmaking implemented at all.
Maybe something has changed today.
