How long each week does it take a solid guild to complete SSC and TK?
Currently I have two raid nights: one for Karazhan and one for Gruul/Magtheridon. It has worked out fairly well for my IRL schedule because the raids can be completed fairly quickly.
Am I looking at something similar for SSC and TK, or will they take up a lot more of my time?
What I’m seeing this time around is that yes the player base is better and knows what to do both with characters and content. So as a result you get guilds and players that clear what they want and log.
They might go back to retail for a bit or another game or they might log back in to farm or play around but slowly players get bored or frustrated and quit. The faster and maybe better players rush to get to the end while others milk things out because that’s what they enjoy.
You won’t have the same amount of people like last time sticking around to farm raids my guys…
So someone else on here made this point regarding content pacing. We’re roughly 60 days into BC:C, at this point of actual BC 5/6 SSC bosses were already down (remember T5 and hyjal were in at launch).
This biggest thing that held people back in BC was the fact the Vashj was horribly bugged, and KT was tuned to be so insanely difficult that it took guilds forever to full clear T5. What version of KT we get remains to be seen, but I assume we won’t get bugged as hell Vashj.
Vashj can be killed, Kael’thas might require a bit effort (some pirate server noobs struggling hard on Kael’thas thinking they were chads like Kungen).
