SS difference between 2200-2400?

Hey all,

What (if any) is the skill difference between SS players in games at 2200 cr versus up to 2400 cr?

I know it’s different for rated 3s, but how sweaty is the 200cr difference in solo shuffle? Or is it much the same?

The best of the 2200 rated dps triple the skill level of the worst 2400 rated dps. It’s honestly just a meltingpot.

2300-2400 is the hard push imo.

The spec they’re playing or the lobby rng they’re getting

Okay so I’m playing Destro currently, sometimes rng lobbies are on my side, other times not so much.

Just wondering how much higher I have to raise my own skill level in order to climb it further as destro. My skill level has probably been the same for a while now. Mainly due to being a bit closed off to adding more keybinds as it hurts my brain and my hand just turns into a crippled claw when I try lol

Just play Dev. Easiest 2400 ever.

I made a dev toon recently! I need to watch some guides to get familiar with it, looks fun

yea buddy warlock isnt good its gonna be tough for u

Curious what you don’t have bound that you should?

It usually isn’t really going to be about adding more keybinds but expanding your game knowledge

Do you know what most specs win conditions are? Do you know what frustrates most specs?

In the modern game you can download addons that will quickly feed you most of this information, if you aren’t utilizing those then those alone would probably increase your mmr by a few hundred alone with some decent lobby rng

It’s super easy. It counters melee so hard and the rotation is just one button.

There’s certain binds I should use which I don’t yet, like having separate binds for focus fear/ focus coil etc. I do use modifiers but still struggle adding them in.

I use all the main PvP add ons, still taking in the info/learning other classes abilities over time. Sometimes I think my knowledge intake with addon use gets slowed down due to being trained mainly. But definitely need to work on it

I don’t have Crusader Strike or my Stat Trinket bound. I also don’t have Holy Light on my bars.

This is my first time pushing 2400 on Ret Pally, and it’s been a tough climb. I actually pushed 2100 to 2370 yesterday in only a few games (including a 6-0 @ 2300 mmr).

But every time I get close to 2400 I end up losing 100 cr to a mix of bad lobby RNG (double Holy Pally last time, or triple mobile casters/casters with spam cc, etc.) and personal mistakes.

I enjoy the challenge, though, because it’s the only way to improve.

Congrats because in my eyes that’s an amazing climb!

I’ve climbed from 0-2480 in less than 60wins and I’ve also 0-6’d to a rating below 2400 and spend over 100 rounds getting back above 2400. It has to be Rng. Only way I rationalize it.

Thank you! I main Frost DK but really been enjoying Ret since I started playing again last season.

If I need to spend some more time focusing on awareness of information coming in (through addons and the like) I wonder if rolling a ret might give me a smidge more breathing room to do so. Sometimes having two melee stuck on me I just don’t have a chance to take in certain information. Maybe once I can get that imprinted into my brain it’ll become easier

I’m at 2300 as restro. Healing is so much fun!

Same. Took me 65 wins to get to 2300, 40 wins later I’m still @ 2300 . I’ve just had the worst lobby RNG, and with really good players (gotta love spending my entire wings in cc).

The games I was hot in today, someone left or quit after 2-3 rounds. That’s just how it goes sometimes.
