I honestly don’t have a problem with them banning spy, I don’t pvp. But they’d have to do it in a way that doesn’t break EVERY OTHER combat log addon or I’d be pissed.
Plus, it’s not as widespread as people think, ironically the last version before the current only had like 75k downloads, but now that people keep making these posts it’s given it exposure and the current version is over 100k downloads lol. You guys are actually making it worse for yourself.

Try to quest as a rogue having horde randomly attacking you, even if you don’t want to pvp you are forced to, you can’t even hide, if a mage have the addon, he can just arcane blast until he sees you… nothing fun about that!
the main people that want spy banned is the classes that it effects most!! I like spy makes it a little more even for warriors against stealth classes and casters…I am tired of the whining about it because they cant gank a player as easy any more. Get over it! Besides there is another add on if configured right does pretty close to same thing so if spy is banned there is still a way to even the field of play now…So have your all little fit want help always new way to do it…LOL
Great necro lol but they already fixed it. Reducing the area it picks up on drastically making it 100% better and easier to gank all those cloth balls again. Of course a good clothy knows what to do about it - almost like they have a pile of spells to even things out in return.
Anyone who supports the use of this addon is a pile of human garbage.
