Best opener and best escape… way OP… pick one. Spy doesn’t prevent openers, it just reminds people of dangers lurking around.

Yea, Imagine an addon that tells the player to use Spell Reflect everytime you cast on them!
True, but spy only fuels the fire.
Enemy Cast Bar and spell reflect when they cast… or I could just write a simple weak aura…
You can’t see enemy cast bar if you’re not targeting him, Warrior is fighting a Shaman you hiding in the trees Launch a Pyroblast Addon Says PYROBLAST incoming Spell Reflect goes up!
Thats pretty much what this addon does to stealth classes.

If it’s a 2v1, warrior is probably gonna lose (warrior will probably lose 1v1). Also, any addon (including weakauras) can detect when someone casts, notifying you of this.
spy doesn’t help you in combat. All that the spy addon does is delay your opener. Crying that you gotta wait 30 seconds longer is petty at best.

right click on it go to settings then make a new filter and check the enemy players box boom now you can see enemy players with your combat log.
Your example is not even in the same universe as a comparison.
Spy doesn’t say stealth player attack incoming and let you reflect the attack.
It lets you know someone is within a 200 yard range of you, unless you are in combat already, or unless the enemy was already in stealth.
And you can’t target them if they stealth.
People that feel the need to over exaggerate to try to prove their points are amusing.
All I see are dumb and dumber (you) trying to explain how using the WoW API, with LUA code that it allows, is somehow an exploit or ‘cheat’.

Which is more of a nerf to ranged DPS and hunter tracking than it is to rogues since ranged DPS don’t have any other way to sneak up on you.
