I like them coming out with premium transmog sets. I don’t like that it’s gated behind a pay-wall. A quest chain or an event to get the transmog would have been better imo
Other MMOs have been doing this for years though. I guess that’s why it doesn’t bother me. Heck, even FF XIV which people love so much does it.
Except this is how Blizzard has done promotions; its an add-on to a 6-month sub.

The buy page (not in the game) links you to both options: one with the subscription and one with the wing outfit by itself.
So I dont know how Blizzard is acting scummy in this scenario, at all.

I would suggest that anyone that thinks its worth it should pay the $. If you think it isnt worth it then dont.

Whats the differing opinion: you had said what Blizzard was doing a scummy promotion by not mentioning that it is able to buy seperately; when on the shop page it has both options (with or without sub).
You got caught looking like an idiot.
It was almost certainty meant to be a Blizzcon reward, and they just moved it to the shop because Blizzcon’s mostly canceled.

You’re crazy if you don’t think they have additional cosmetics to get with a 60$ blizzconline purchase. Theres no way they let that one slip away.

Actually, the feature page in-game doesn’t mention the $20 part. It only shows the 6month sub+ the costume for $87

I’ve saved up about $77 credit with in game tokens…I had to get this transmog…it’s awesome. If only my avatars would update!

Once when I was a child I was snooping for x-mas gifts and found this awesome Spiderman action figure. Fast forward 2 months to Xmas…turns out it was for my cousin.
