Just got this baby last night, rep was fast and easy only took like 2 hours to get to honored, the extra damage for aoe farming/ tanking mobs is awesome, plus it’s the perfect anti rogue shield too haha.
12 posion damage per 3 seconds stacking up to 5 times for 12 seconds EACH time you block, not on chance. If you’re a tank 62+ I highly recommend getting it, won’t get an upgrade until LVL 64 in MT and this ones so easy to get.

Grats dude. I smile when I see prot pallies out there aoe farming stuff. Takes some dedication to get set up to be able to do that right?
It’s actually fun as hell, I can grab 7+ mobs and melt them down, trouble is trying to grab them all before the aggro tether makes them run back

I got it and was completely underwhelmed. It was doing something like 3% of my damage on groups of 5-6 mobs.

lol its not suppose to top damage meters, lil extra threat and a lil more damage, questing alone is great though especially if there’s a large group of melee mobs to round up
I have been aoe farming the black temple guys and it FINALLY feels good to be able to kill stuff effectively, I almost feel like a mage, kinda. I used that sporregar shield for like 8 levels, its great.

It shines in unhittable builds for farming massive mob pulls in dungeons like Strat. Your avoidance/block is way too low atm and you don’t have enough mobs hitting you which is why the dmg is low.

You clearly don’t know how to play a hunter very well then.
The class is designed to exploit lol.
Hunter is the only class capable of SOLOING heroic bosses, look at SP hunter solo videos. And as a secret I can’t tell you what else hunters can solo, I don’t want it nerfed to the ground lol.
Have you ever used a skullflame shield?
It scales with spell power and it is absolutely crazy for farming - more damage and the healing is a nice touch. The lichen guard doesn’t hold a candle to it

They were reverted back.
There’s a video on someone running stocks within the last week and it shows the overall damage and healing. It’s not even close.
It’s really unobtainable for most people regardless though, the lichen shield however is easy to get.

Congratulation you pull ahead in dumbest thing I’ve heard all week.
You do realize the Reflective disc for engineering does even more dmg right. There are shields designed with this purpose not to mention skullflame shield as well. It’s an intended mechanic that works just as intended.
