[Spoilers] The Burning of Teldrassil is being ignored and hidden from new players

Of course they will.

They catered to the complaints of Saurfang and Sylvanas Loyalists and put in an exclusive story choice.

You can believe that, I don’t.
I believe they designed those choices way before any feedback about them.
Moreover, if you think the loyalists were happy to know that they all gave up about Sylvanas so that their choice wasn’t that significant. I’ve seen the topics pop as soon as it was released.

It’s not belief. It’s fact that Blizzard designed a special feature for the Horde to give them a little solace when their story was being destroyed.

Said special feature was not available to the other faction. That’s new content.

Other faction didn’t have any hard choice like the Horde had, they already talked about that before. :man_shrugging:

Exactly. That is new content. You said they will probably not put in new content.

They did it for the Horde.

If we ask they may reconsider although it’s low chance.

It wasn’t new it was planned with the expansion, on a current expansion. You’re asking them to design or add back a way to do the burning of Teldrassil, which is basicly old content.

Hey they’re a company charging prices for expansions and the subs. They can do it.

Here is one issue.

Night Elves are the most played alliance race in the entire game. They’re 13.6% and then humans at 13.3%. Meanwhile Gnomes are the least and are like 1.5%.

There are a bunch of Night Elf players, like there’s so many it’s not even funny. So when they burn down the NE capital, lots of people are going to be upset. Meanwhile, if they did something to the Gnomes, well, the Gnomes would be happy to be mentioned at all.

So any time the Night Elves are hurt, people are upset, any time Night Elves are ignored, people are upset, any time Night Elves succeed, well they’re upset too because no one likes Malfurion and even if he did that cool thing in the cinematic, well he’s boring.

I don’t think Blizzard should cater their story to satisfy a certain demographic of players. Because if that was the case, this would be World of Elfcraft since 17.9% of all 120s are Blood Elves, 13.6% are Night Elves, 4.5% are Void Elves, 2.4% are Nightborne, so that’s 38.4% of all 120s being an Elf.

I think they should just write their story and let the cards fall where they may. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

What i find is funny, is the exclusive content that ONLY THE HORDE knows about what is going on with Death. As far as the Alliance are concerned once Sylvanas left, everything was fat dumb and happy. They have NO IDEA ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE AT ALL.

Talk about exclusive one faction content that has major implications. Even now Alliance has no clue unless Bolvar runs to the Alliance the moment he loses the helm…which won’t happen until actual Shadowlands. Anduin and his leadership are so completely and totally inept and in a rush to make peace, he just forgets about anything that happened and all is forgiven…because peace and really poor story.

Well good, while they are catering to us, they can give me back Vol’jin. His death to trash mobs to prop up Sylvanas as Warchief was bs.

It’s just alpha, they’ll fix it.
It’s just beta, they’ll fit ix.
Why didn’t you say anything during testing?

Alpha is the best time to get feedback going on changes you don’t like.

As Alliance I want Vol’jin back as well

I don’t blame the Devs for wanting to leave it out, just to an antagonize you. These reactions to unfinished content are absurd and a joke, at best.

As a Troll, I want Zul’jin back.
It’s kinda funny that if you do /charge on a Troll they can say “For Zul’jin!”

It’s not like they’ve never put a plot point on hold for another time or anything. (Hint: They have several times)

From the SL intro, I’d wager we’re going to have more important things to be concerned with.

Can’t that be said about Tyrande and the Night Warrior?

The Horde had zero idea Tyrande just invoked the will of her Goddess did they?

What? Really?!

These reactions are completely warranted. Alpha is the best time to give feedback about things you don’t like. That includes trying to absolve the Horde of any guilt for the burning of Teldrassil.

Those people who don’t want people to complain despite the mess which was BFA are probably the ones who expect us to thank Blizzard on bended knee despite any content they put out.

If you honestly think they’re going to leave it out, you have far bigger problems.
