(Spoilers) Sylvanas is getting a redemption and Teldrassil will once again be ignored

Yeah, my bet has been on that all the terrible things that Sylvanas did will be hand waved as acceptable, if edgy sacrifices to her great and noble goal of stopping how unfair and predatory the afterlife is. She’s going to be our savior. I don’t think it’s quite a redemption, as it is excuse making. I mean, if she made a baby furnace that would solve all of Azeroth’s problems, we would still be feeding the baby furnace and a lot of people wouldn’t be okay with that.

Blizzard definitely seems like the want to pull this part where her awfulness is excused because she realized she had to save us from the afterlife and and that’s a bigger deal since it lasts forever compared to our ephermal mortal ones.

I always wonder if you sylvanas fanboys would still love her if she had the model of a female stitches. I’m willing to bet you would immediately drop the love for her.

Take it up with Blizzard then my dude because they themselves used the word to describe Teldrassil.

Yeah imagine if Tyrande had to kill and burn down the entirety of Thunderbluff including the children in order to invoke the power of the Night Warrior and make herself stronger in order to defeat some big evil, the Horde players would never say she deserves redemption loool

People just simp hard for Sylvanas bc she’s hot. I did too even as a gay guy until BFA

Tell that to the children she condemned to the Maw to suffer. Like, at the least if they are going to go the route of redemption she needs to suffer in the Maw for as long as all the souls she sent there did. It’s only fair and gives her a taste of her own medicine.

Well of course shes getting redemption. These writers think they’re amazing, and their story is so deep and unpredictable.

You have all these guys in the lore community who spend hours looking at every detail and theorycrafting the story, and every single time the story goes no where and has the most predictable ending possible.

best thing you can do is not care. Literally why care about horrible lore ruined by one character the writers themselves simp for? is not worth it.

It’s funny how she lost a lot of fans when they covered her more in Legion.

Nathanos and sylvanas have shown time and time again that they are pieces of :poop:. That is, they would betray and leave behind any and all in furtherance of their own objective. Literature has shown time and time again that those kinds of characters have no “love” they can feel towards anyone, and most likely than not, Syl is more likely to betray Nathanos eventually.

That maybe true, but it did affect the civilians outside the bomb blast so it was an genocide just covered to save it from being judged so.

She did already and yet he doesn’t realize it.

You do realize Lillian Vos is the #2 most liked Forsaken. It is odd that people keep acting like everyone is a teenage boy who just likes a female elf model (not even a very good looking one). ALso is that why you think people like any female WoW character?

I for one don’t want her to get a redemption arc at all. I think if anything she is playing an EXTREMELY long game to a goal that was possibly planned out years ahead of time.

I am also waiting on the eventual mind f*** to come out that the biggest threat to all of WoW and Azeroth is actually going to be The Light. I mean seriously…how many wars have been fought on its behalf?

THE LIGHT IS EVIL INCARNATE!!!

… By sylvanas herself. So, no vengeance there.

Alliance forever. Horde may get the wins, but they literally are the bad guys.

This is why I play void elf. All I do is win, while horde (mainly belf and undead) players cry about it!!! :muscle:t6::muscle:t6::muscle:t6::boom::boom::boom::100::100::smiling_imp:

Oh, I never supported her. I intentionally avoided doing all those quests and found a circuitous route into Zandalar this expac. It was a pain in the butt, but I was opposed to it and stuck with my values.

I don’t like the idea, but I still think that Blizzard will be going with the idea that the Shadowlands puts us into an eternity of being objectified, used a food, our identities stripped from us and perhaps, ultimately consumption and non-existence. Since the elf souls are still existent, that harm is lesser, so her crimes are lesser than the shadowlands eating us until we are wiped out of all existence.

What about Nighty blood elf trolls?

lillian vos is the only other notable forsaken, so it’s not much of a milestone. And as I already explained sylvanas is a one-dimensional character. She has no character growth and little commonality with the general public.

She still uses the plague, she’s still selfish, and she’s still uses the same strategy.
At this point you either like her because of her character model or because you don’t pay attention to the story.

After the Alliance defeated the horde army and pushed them out of the zone. Seems a bit like revenge to me.
