Good thing my sub has already ran out but Blizz you really just can’t stop dumping on the Night Elf fanbase (or what’s left of it after BfA).
No revenge, no justice, no resolution, none of their lands back and no new capital city, also every single npc that was complicit in the genocide of the Night Elves has been whitewashed of their crimes, even Sylvanas now after the Horde blamed everything on her alone.
Even Nathanos is coming back as if nothing happened, shows just how they refuse to give the Night Elves a single victory or fist bump moment after they destroyed the race so happily in BfA.
Awful Blizz, why are you trying to make every remaining Night Elf player quit the game? What is it with the race that you hate so much?
For the record, let’s have a small list of just a few of Sylvanas’ crimes
- Teldrassil genocide and torture of thousands of innocent souls, followed by their obliteration
- Southshore
- Gilneas / Killing Liam
- Freed the scourge
- Started the fourth war and got many many people killed just to torture their souls
- The entire war of thorns
- The Wrathgate
- Blighting Lordaeron
- Killing Saurfang
- Plotting Vol’jins and Varians deaths
- Plotting with Azshara and trying to get the Champions (us) killed too and sent to the maw
- Killing Thomas Zelling
- Attempted to kill Thrall
- Attempted to kill Bwonsamdi

Nathanos died on Azeroth. Where else would he go? The SL. Just because a night elf killed him doesn’t mean he just disappears. It was obvious that we’d see Nathanos again the day it was announced we’d be killing him. This isn’t news.
Regarding a Sylvanas “redemption”
In my opinion, it’s also been pretty obvious that they’re (at least trying) to paint Sylvanas as “not pure evil”. After she breaks the helm, she says “this world is a prison”. In the Shadowlands: Story Trailer, she says “nothing is fair… but through the Jailer, control of our fate will at last be possible”.
I think this is all pretty clear that she’s still chasing some sort of goal that will affect all living creatures. She says they will tear it all down. Likely the unfair fate of living creatures? I don’t know. Just theorizing here.
I don’t know how you’re surprised by any of this information, or what was hinting that NE’s were getting a new capital any time soon. None of this seems like news to me, but I definitely think you’re taking this whole attack on the NE’s a bit too personal. It isn’t just night elves who are tired of the story. I don’t think Blizz is intentionally anti-NE. They’re just extremely pro-Sylvanas, and a lot of people are over it.

I mean we already know that’s going to happen since one of the leads simps over her. As I’ve said before, from what I know of the Shadowlands story so far it feels like the story was written by 12 year old’s chatting in a “rpg” yahoo message board.

You can also say that, probably thanks to Sylvanas, Death became the Mary Sue Comic power in WoW. Gosh, everything surrounding this expansion is distasteful.
