* Spoilers* Sylvanas dialogue redemption?

You think they will complete the heritage sets?

I have bad news for you

Oh I expect they will complete it, but not with the time table players think. I think the Heritage sets are the new incubus, Blizzard has promised they will add them but it probably going to take a decade or so before it is finished.

White woman complaining about white men - racism because she is white, woman, or because the object of the complaint is white, men?

If she complained about black men like that, would she be called a racist?

These are the same people who declared that orcs are genetically violent, portrays Sylvanas as a hysterical woman who commits mass violence whenever she’s upset, and has an 18 year old prince mansplain, whitesplain, and civiliansplain trauma to others.

Their authority on characterization is crap.

Eh I’m with Kal on that. I enjoy genre fusions. I also love the concept of cosmic overlords fighting for power with Azeroth stuck in the middle. It’s just the execution that’s horrible.

Revendreth strayed from it’scoriginal purpose. It seemsvlike the original purpose was more about therapy than torture.

“Torture” seems to just be a byproduct. It wasn’t their primary objective to inflict suffering. Some of the posters image of Revendreth as Cartoon Hell with little demons poking you with pitchforks is wrong.

I am going to assume you are not trying to be a troll about this topic because you’ve said you are indigenous. Not sure if this is just a North American culture thing or if it’s sweeping the world with this white nationalist nonsense but…

It’s the whole idea that white men (ie, the most priviliged sex/race) think they are opressed when anyone calls out thier inherent privilige. Scholars have called it “borrowed oppression” and some people have gone the extra mile to call it “racism” but as with all positions of privilige many if these men only care about racism when it’s against white men.

Many hate groups like the triple K, the alt right and Qanon, etc are using this as an anti-PoC platform so it’s essentially a pipeline to white nationalism and white supremacy. Look at how anti-vaxx is linkex to Q-anon. Look at most “freedom” protests around the world rn, it mostly white people.

Progressive white women are being attacked, threatened and defamed by this group for not conforming to white supremacy.

America is going through a cultural change, with women, lgbtq and poc peoples getting more attention in movies, politics and just getting the same rights as everyone else.

And it’s driving these racist white men crazy(as a white male myself, these people are a disgrace).

I don’t mind Anduin trying to be helpful towards other people (he’s merely doing his best to be a good person/leader), so much as how the story almost constantly bends to show him being right about what he’s saying. That’s not showing him as being wise, that’s bad writing making him a Purity Sue.

As long as Danuser is around, things will never get better.

Oh come on, he’s not a sue. He was totally wrong about Garrosh and even got crushed by him so he could get his magic bones!

That will never stop being weird to me.

perhaps it would be more accurate to say ‘his morals are always shown to be the objectively correct morals’ than ‘he is always right’, ie, Garrosh rejecting Anduin’s attempt at reconciliation proved Garrosh is irredeemable.

I think the disconnect stems from new writers changing foundational elements, themes, and genre. Every cosmic force being reduced to technocrats just doesn’t really enhance the world in a meaningful way so much as fundamentally change the setting as we knew it. We already had the Pantheon set up as using machinery and robots to Order the universe (though I’d argue the deific beings associated with Order using machinery makes a lot more sense than the rest).

I guess I just hoped that our jaunts into other corners of the cosmology would rekindle some sense of mystique or enigma I used to have for things like the Dragon Flights and The Twisting Nether instead of more Robots vs. Corruption, Who Dun It?

Azshara is probably not getting a redemption arc though and is always treated as unequivocally evil.

I’m assuming things are still missing, it sounds like there should be some other dialog or scene between pieces.

Since we already did a blended memory thing with Uther, I’d wonder if they’re going to do a soul mirror mixed-memory thing with Sylvanas. Loosed my arrow is easy to mix into one “jumbled” memory, to then separate as with Uther.

Yeah, there’s one of the errors people have added in also; it’s breath, not breadth.

So, if we assume that we go through a soul mirror thing again: This feels a bit better if we watched her bind Anduin as part of that. Jaina is mad about seeing it, Uther is again our plot-device to bridge the audience.

Mountain in the distance: the story requires grand things just beyond understanding, once you understand them, they are not magical and wonderful.

If she was mind-controlled, she was mind-controlled, nothing can be done about it.

Makes me wonder, will Sylvanas fans now be Jailer fans?

Azshara got a bit of a redemption arc in BFA.

Ehhh, I dunno that I agree with that. She’s the enemy of our enemy but I think the implication is pretty strong she’s going to come back later and not to help us out.

I was interested in the full position of the prosecutor to mock the accuser / point of view of the prosecutor. Better to think of all my messages as trolling.
I call myself a metis. A mixture of Europeoid and Mongoloid, the culture of the place of birth and residence has not been studied. Consider me a European, it reflects reality better.

Banning the mention of the criminal’s nationality - white nationalist nonsense?

Are there areas where PoC, LGBT +, women are significantly ahead of white traditional men, and condemnation (or something) of pandering to them (white traditional men) in these areas?

Who is included in the “everyone else” category other than the traditional white male?
