which is fine although arthas was the one who led the scourge against quelthalas it was all part of kelthuzad’s plan to revive.
Kelthuzad is the mastermind behind the fall of Lordaeron. He created the plague and infiltrated the entire kingdom with the cult!
That was Archimonde.
Yes I am aware.
And the Highborne as a whole are responsible for the Sundering yet were reintegrated into Night Elves.
Or we used to have Illidari demon hunters be our enemy and they are now reintegrated back into Horde and Alliance.
Yes thank you.
Going by that logic though, hasn’t just about everyone on Azeroth been a betrayer at one point or another? Night Elves fought back against Azshara, Lordaearon and every Alliance nation circa WC3 fought back against Arthas, Dwarves resisted Moira, the Horde defied Garrosh, etc.
KT is not just any enemy, he was the one who poisoned the wheat to turn the population of lordaeron into zombies, kelthuzad was the one who devised his own resurrection using the sunwell and was the one who ordered to invade dalaran to invoke the legion, kelthuzad is the main responsible of all the tragedies of wc3.
everything KT did he did of his own free will in his quest for power and immortality!
So did the Highborne and we have Nelf Mages.
it is not the same group and in any case the illidan naga fought against the legion
KT is a monster who wanted to kill the population of Azeroth and turn them into zombie slaves
*shrugs *
Calia is being shaped to be the Forsaken Queen and I miss Varimanthas from when I started playing, and I see an opportunity to develop Kelthuzzad into a New Varimanthas that would give the Forsaken a way to make new Forsaken without Valkyr.
KT is the enemy of all life, even now he is working to bring death and pain. He is a being of incalculable evil, do you really think that someone like KT would stop trying to kill everyone?
I like KT as a character is the only decent villain in WoW today
Yes.
/10char
do you think he can stop trying to kill everyone?
With sufficient motivation (as you said, Power and a desire for Immortality) yes.
I am not sure if Kelthuzad is shaping up to be the Gul’dan boss I mean like Blackhand was for wod etc. or Jaina for BFA.
Basically the first raid zone that is related to the expansion theme.
I hope not.
I mean I could see them hyping it up to tie into classic just for the “hey kelthuzad is the end boss of both Retail and classic” memes. But its just more memery which is sort of what blizzard does alot.
Pff, Thalyssra is hardly -like Baine- a self insert proper (too much weak, irrelevant and pathetic for that); if anything she´s a narrative plot device, no more and no less.
The whole “the wove of muh life!!” construct IS from the novel. Remember what Kael´thas answered to that jibe?
You’ve taken everything I ever cared for, Arthas. Vengeance is all I have left.
To reduce Kael´s jealousy as just his crush from Jaina is to make a huge disservice to the actual development of the character. No dear, Kael was jealous of Arthas not only because of Jaina, but because he literally was the Golden Boy that effortessly won everything the Prince probably spend centuries to achieve in mere months.
If anyone should appear in that vision, that would be Arthas + bunch of Kirin Tor + Jaina + Antonidas and so on…
No, she just made it some crucial heartbreaking thing that literally wasn´t reflected in TFT.
For all we know at the time regarding the game proper, Kael could have been jealous/pissed of losing a potentially interesting one night stand, period.
Maw anima you say?
So Sin and Memories(which also have the same Animation) are the Jailer’s Domain then…
The Mawsworn Death Elementals even look like a hybrid between Memory Elementals and Black Sin Elementals!

I think it’s rather everything the Eternals are (except the Winter Queen) is derived from the Jailer:

A theory I came up with
‘Even then, according to the Venthyr, all souls deserve a chance at redemption, and as such, we will help Kael walk that path in Someone Worth Saving.’
Making me like the Venthy more.
The Tithelord: Betrays everyone by joining Team Jailer.
Also Tithelord: Is betrayed by Kel’Thuzad.
Surprise Pikachu face
KT is far too gone to join the Forsaken, but I could picture him aiding the Forsaken in some capacity by way of Helcular.
