Super easy for the Alliance to say that, being Alliance, serving Alliance-Neutral npcs turning Alliance again. Your song would be very different if a Horde NPC had taken a Horde-Neutral organization back to the Horde and another Horde-Neutral NPC leading a different organization returned his loyalty to the Horde.
Also, you know, given how the only npcs we ever work with are Alliance or Alliance-Neutral.
Yeah, I said Cata wasnāt that bad and you are using it to compare to the Bolvar situation. Thrall wasnāt leading the Alliance and the Horde as a central guide in that expansion. His presence was only in very specific events. Bolvar is the central character in Shadowlands- he shouldnāt have such a strong emotional tie to an Alliance character, much less Anduin who is a story black hole.
It is easy to say, all the more so for being correct.
The ideal scenario would be to develop Horde characters such that Horde players have an alternative to serving Alliance semi-neutral NPCs every expansion. e.g. the Earthern Ring should have been the Horde counterpart to the Cenarion Circle during the Firelands patch.
The Ebon Blade is a neutral organization. If Bolvar is alliance, he should step down and rescind all leadership and command.

blizz just keeps removing all horde leadership and keeps on increasing alliance roster
who is left on the horde that can counter jaina, tyrande and malfurion ? sylvanas is no longer around
just the alliance leaders alone, with no army, would be strong enough to wipe out the entire horde
ffs, the ebon blade probably has more military might than the horde at this point, that is why having bolvar being alliance aligned is a problem

what alliance players need to realize is that of course horde players are afraid of even another character supporting the alliance
the horde has almost nothing left
Can someone ask them on the forums or Twitter to change this dialogue? Even if itās voice-acted with enough backlash they would change it.

Like Iāve said in another post, what disturbs me is how Blizzard views Horde leaders and important/beloved NPCs as nothing more then disposable plot points, and how alliance npcs keep gaining more and more god levels of power every other expac

I mostly play Alliance, I find this extremely stupid though. Bolvar the Paladin is dead. Bolvar was the lich king for well over a decade.
He canāt just waltz back into his old role. I would also find it annoying playing on a Horde character and having to hear this dialogue. And the fact that itās Anduin makes it even more gratingā¦

Itās bad for Alliance story to have Bolvar back by glossing over what heās done.
Itās bad that the Horde gets sidetracked because Bolvar the neutral leader and guide of the expansion chooses to affiliate himself to Anduin.
