*spoilers* - Including genocide in your story and refusing to properly address it is disgusting Blizzard!

Blizzard is a company that cares about money. Your point is stupid. They DONT want to drive people away.

So I can see why you’re angry but I disagree with your assessment that it’s unprofessional and disgusting.

The reason being is that it’s fiction.

I hated when my favorite characters were tortured and killed throughout the Game of Thrones books, but I wouldn’t call George R. R. Martin disgusting and unprofessional.

When a character or race is tested, it makes it all the more rewarding when they’re able to bounce back.

The blood elves are a good example. Arthas wiped out 90% of Quel’thalas’ population. He destroyed the Sun Well, leaving the remaining 10% bereft of the very thing that sustained them. He murdered their king.

The sin’dorei wouldn’t get their revenge until the next expansion and, afterward, got enough of a population to create void elves.

Conflict resolution needn’t happen in a single expansion and it REALLY sucks when it does.

Look at the Emerald Nightmare (resolved in a single raid) Nazjatar (poorly represented as a zone/patch) and Nyalotha (resolved in a raid) as examples.

Each of those could easily have been their very own expansion as they’d been teased and built up upon for years.

When the night elves get their revenge, it’ll be glorious to you; a true blue night elf fan.

People like myself will grumble and mutter that our genocide wasn’t nearly thorough enough.

No, I think you need to go out into the real world and discover what real problems are and what real genocide is. I also think that your endless screeds using a word you do not understand are an insult to the victims and survivors of actual genocide. I also think that your obsession with this points to a deeper problem between you and the game and that it isn’t really the game’s issue. You need to get educated and get a grip.

It’s most likely not the whole company, just one or a few writers acting on their own and nobody notices…

Are you seriously that clueless? Blizzard is a multi million company. No lore point that became the focus of a whole expansion wouldn’t be something that isn’t thought out.

You know that Blizzard themselves used the term “genocide” multiple times, right?

Yea, because it’s going to make them so much money to completely annihilate a playable race and then ignore if after. Well thought out.

Guess I win the Ashenvale argument

No you don’t because again the Horde got Azshara for the Night Elves to get Ashenvale. Giving the Horde both now is unfair.

Please show me sources where the used the word genocide.

I don’t know about you, but last time I checked night elves are still a playable race.

Well too bad cus the zone has been shared since Vanilla and you aren’t getting it just cus it is a Nelf looking zone

“How could this be happening? How could the Horde have gotten so far, and how—in Elune’s name, why?—had the Horde chosen to burn the World Tree? This was more than war. More than cruelty. This was madness and genocide and hatred so extreme that Astarii could not understand it.”

“Sylvanas Windrunner had committed genocide.”

Too bad you have no idea about the lore.

Warsong Gulch has been in the game since Vanilla. They have been fighting for resources since the beginning

This is a game and obviously fairness in the gameplay comes before story and it would be unfair to say

Oh sorry but you guys can’t play in this zone anymore we are giving it to the other faction

Imagine people complaining a dead capital where no one hangs out is removed from the game.

First of all they could make it so the Night Elves get that zone in the lore, second of all the Night Elves permanently lost Teldrassil so it would be fair even if they got a phased version of Ashenvale.

a phased version of Ashenvale would be razed to the ground because the Horde army marched through it.

Blizzard has zero reason to make that lore change.

What lore change? Are you trolling? The Night Elves had Ashenvale in the lore before BfA

I hate that Sylvanas got away with what she did so far to she should be suffering for eternity in the maw right now

But if you literally can’t live with it you don’t have to play the game if the story makes it unplayable for you

Right here. There is no reason to make that canon
