thank you for your cooperation. have a nice night
You’re welcome. I’m glad to stop posting.
IT’S MONDAY ALYNSA! YOU GOTTA STOP POSTING!
SUNDAY NEEDS TO STAY IN ITS LANE!
I think their bodies are okay, could tone down the hands or muscle texture a bit to look more realistically muscular a bit but I think it’s just par for the course with the game’s exaggerated artstyle.
Here’s what might be my inflaming hot take, for me my biggest issue is they added new face options and then locked them behind the newer skin colors which some make sense but others don’t to me and just feels like unnecessary customization restriction when other races like Blood Elves, Gnomes, and Dwarves don’t seemingly have this issue, they can pick whatever face or skin color they want without restriction.
I know it’s perhaps they wanted to be as sensitive on this as possible, but for me who doesn’t want to play a black or Asian human it feels rather ripped that there’s not really much in the way of new options for me outside of the usual selection of middle-aged faces. I’d like to at least have one option to look like more of a dashing heroic knight and the face I picked is just about the closest I can get but there are other faces with smoother textures and less laugh lines or excessive wrinkles that are restricted to the other skin tone options.
I am Horde. Monday is the evil warchief. I am rebelling against Monday, it’s what we do (after a suitable period of mass-murder in Monday’s name, of course).
For the Dark Weekday.
Well, since the original Anduin was a river, it is at least more on-brand.
I am over Zekhan now that he’s been coopted for the SYLVANAS EVUL pile-on.
The syl is evil plotting was gonna happen sooner or later, the fact it was BFA and zappyboi revived so much hype lead to him being on that bandwagon.
It’s because they’re not nelves, they’re from another planet entirely (yes, nelf Elune worship doesn’t belong to nelves anymore) and Blizz doesn’t model brand new races for anything they don’t plan on reusing extensively. (And one is a unicorn, one is a stag.)
Of course it is. It’s also okay to dislike them. Hating another player for the fictional race they play in a game is childish, though at least on Roleplaying realms there is a certain pattern to people who main vulpera. Which is to say, they’re often people who don’t care about lore and want to play their OCs.
I saw one who claimed to be a sentient raccoon-person from planet Earth who got here by escaping a space station when the computer virus in his body hacked their mainframe.
Another was a Chinese trickster spirit (Huli-jing) with eyes of amber, two tails, rocky protrusions from their back, and cybernetic limbs powered by spirit energy.
One is just Sly Cooper, but a vulpera (and French for some reason?)
Of course there’s good RPers mixed in with them, but you gotta sift through a lot of people who just don’t care to find the ones who do.
“Your toes
Hand 'em over”
That doesn’t stop them from being associated with the group that tried (and nearly succeeded) at wiping out her people. Not that it’s an option for players, but I doubt she’d have any beef with an orc, troll, or tauren who tossed the Horde tabard in the dumpster and went “I’m not about that, man”. It would be like telling the belves to get over the Scourging of Quel’thalas.
I mean, you still call yourselves Blood Elves because a lot of people died. Stormwind Humans didn’t start calling themselves Bloodwind Humans when the orcs wiped out the kingdom. Draenei didn’t start calling themselves Bloodgoats after the Path of Glory. Your suffering doesn’t make you special, jeez
Honestly, I wish he hadn’t become a meme because of Taliesin and Evitel going “OOH HE SHOT THE LIGHTNING AT GREYMANE WHAT A GUY”, because otherwise he’d have just been a side character no one would have real strong feelings about. Now he feels more forced.
Baine is not unsalvageable, I just don’t know how to begin to salvage him.
I like Jaina.
Careful. Having these opinions with a red background to your avatar will get you lynched by other people with red backgrounds.
Or blue ones. I can’t stand the broad, now.

I feel like there was a journey Jaina was supposed to go on to shed all the anger and end up back to “maybe we can work things out with the Horde” (as one tends to be with an abusive ex that they can’t get over), but they lacked time/resources so just made her be off-screen 'til we rescue her out of Thros.
So what we see goes from,
“Beware. Beware… of me.”
to “I did everything wrong… :(”
to “We can’t keep up the attack while they’re mourning”
to “IS HE THE BOMB THIS TIME?!”
to “What’s different?” “We are.”
I’m not sure if Jaina is poorly written for being wildly all over the place, or well-written for having the erratic emotional peaks and valleys of someone with untreated stress disorders. (Just kidding, I know it’s the former because they couldn’t feasibly write the latter.)
RIGHT?!? Where has that loveable fail-boat even been since Cata?
For a sec, I thought you meant the druid stuck in seal form in the first aid building in Legion Dalaran, and I was gonna say the accent is wrong. -facepalm-
Didn’t even bother unlocking Mechagnomes. Kelsey(? …I stopped paying attention to who it is that is yelling my name) is being constantly blown off whenever I fly from the bank to the portal room in Boralus. It’s just… why?
Disagree that scrap gnomes would fix it.
It’s only been monday for… looks at calendar Craaaaaaaap.
Calendars are merely a suggestion at this point.
They’re not even real man! Down with our calendar overlords!
I just did this last night.
I said it’d make me mad in the beta.
It still makes me mad.
Calling it now, Eonar is the Winter Queen’s sister, per the Memory of Eonar being a Night Fae rep unlock. So, I’m guessing, if Elune has anything to do with them, then that makes Elune their mother (and whether or not Elune has any relation to them is a guess). If that’s the case, and Elune’s some grand, cosmic entity… Meh.
Maybe I’m being too pessimistic. I’ve been critical of the “ventures into the comsology”, but my time in Shadowlands has warmed me up to it some. (My core problems with it were rushing through solid Azeroth content just to get there).
Ultimately, if the Night Elves wind up less special to Elune, then… Meh. Spending sixteen years as “Her children”, with the entire Night Elf culture wrapped around Elune, only to find out, “the mystery of Elune is that she never actually cared about some random knife-ears” would suck. If it turns out, “yeah, many cultures worshipped Elune, but the Night Elves were somehow special to her above all others”, then… I’d be more okay with that. I think I’d still prefer that she’d remained a simple, moon goddess, but we’ll see.
I didn’t think Elune was nelf-exclusive to begin with. We have owlkin as her creation, ties between her and some other critters roaming Azeroth, the tauren had some small degree of worship for her, etc.
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t that Elune was nelf-exclusive, just that night elves were her favorites. That can still work with this non-night elf Night Warrior guy.
As far as interplanetary Elune worship? I dunno 'bout that. Don’t know how I’m ready to feel about it. It’s still early days, so I’m’a let it play out.
That said, I totally get why night elf fans might not be too keen on this development.
I still doubt Eonar, because technically the Titan pantheon are her brothers. And being a force of order and not life still leaves me doubtful, in all honesty maybe it’s neither elune or Eonar but will be some new character for the life lands stuff.
That’s my line of thinking, as well. Eonar and the Winter Queen are sisters in the balance of Life and Death in the mortal world. The Winter Queen is vexed because her sister (and her sister’s minions) keep making all these pets across the cosmos, but she’s the one who ultimately ends up taking care of them. When Eonar needed to hide from that Sargeras boy, she went to Elunaria, and crashed on mom’s couch. Etc.
If done well, I’d be ok with it if it turned out the Night Elves were one part of some cosmos-spanning purpose of Elune’s design. Kind of like whatever the Light is doing with the Draenei (though maybe not as sinister as the new Lux Vult stuff).
I honestly don’t get why people grasp onto Eonar as the WQs sister in all honesty, sure there’sa reward called the memory of Eonar but too say she’sa being of the same and opposite spectrum of the winter queen just doesn’t fit to me. Eonar already has siblings ie the other Titans, she also is a being off order who’s soul purview is to order life throughout the cosmos so she’s more of a dabbler of life energies at best. But life isn’t orderly, it’s gross and consumes like the bottani of draenor.
