My bet is either garrosh was either sent as an anima sponge to the jailer or he was sucked in when part of revendreth collapsed into the maw.
Iâd pay big bucks to see Garrosh decapitate Sylvanas.
I wanted to beat him again just because that MF refuses to drop his Tusk. -.-
To be fair he might be redeemable but Denathrius sent him to the Maw anyway because he is a particularly powerful soul that would be of use to the jailer.
If he was really honorable he would have given up being warchief. He hands down lost that fight to Cairne and only won due to cheating which is supposedly did not know about. His claim that he will never know if he would have lost or won that fight is BS. He had lost the fight and only one because of having a poisoned weapon that left a scratch on Cairne.
Cairne would have definitely won.
The WoW RPG says Cairne is âConsidered the deadliest mortal creature on the face of Azerothâ
But⌠he really didnât know about the poison.
Garrosh isnât really a big âthinkerâ.
From his point of view he attained the greatest single combat victory of his life, then had it ripped away from him when he learned about the poison.
Like he says in his letter
I believe he also wanted to step down towards the end of the book, but Thrall talked him out of it. I donât have a copy available to check though.
Ah that is an interesting view. I can see that.
Nah, they just sent him there cuz heroes were ruining revendreth and they didnât wanna give up the big anima battery
Garrosh still did nothing wrong
Actually, pretty sure the writers said Garrosh would have seek redemption after SoO had he not been freed by that dragon guy which only led him down a worse path.
Likely cause of Anduin saving him from the poisoned food despite all the stuff Garrosh did to him.
I remember the dialogue happening, so I went and thumbed through the end of the book, itâs on page 317. Mortis is correct.
I wonder if Denathriusâs loyalist smuggling Garrosh into the Maw is going to be party of the Venthyr story campaign?
Since heâs associated with Wrath and it looks like weâll be getting the Wrath medallion in 9.1 I could see that happening.
I wonder if weâll be successful in âsavingâ him like with Kaelthas?
Depends which Garrosh we are talking about. Chromie says most Garroshâs were good noble leaders!
My only objection is âineptâ does him too much credit.
He got his capital city sacked by an enemy force, inspired a mutiny that divided his forces in half, and left his coalition at the mercy of King Topknot and the Boatmage during her brief angry period.
His job was WarChief. If your definition of âWarChiefâ is less, âmeatheated jingoist does testosterone and axes goodâ and more, âsucceeds at war,â then Garrosh did more than just âwrong.â Garrosh failed more the concept of war than anyone to ever hold that title.
He is, in terms of pure function, without any question of morals or motivations, the worst WarChief ever.
Can we choose not to help Garrosh?

Can we choose not to help Garrosh
This is WoW.
Free will is an illusion.

Technically there is only one . THere is one main time line but various possibilities . The timeline Azeroth ,Outland and Argus are in are the main timeline. The others are possibilities .

Garrosh
If we get to kill that PoS once in for all Iâm in. If it is a redemption arc, noâŚscrew that guy.

Lets also point out that in that war, he basically also lost all the territory they controlled near his capitol to the point where the Alliance had near complete control. Basically the only victories he had in that war were due to Sylvannas and her style which he also opposed.
He was a terrible leader in every sense of the word for both wartime and peacetime.

if it was not for that traitor named ThrallâŚ
AhemâŚ
Not to throw a giant wall of Water Elementals on your parade here⌠but if Thrall hadnât been around Orgrimmar, and Garrosh, wouldnât exist.
Thrall was the only thing that stopped a very, very angry Jaina from using the Focusing Iris to drown Orgrimmar.
Although I guess thatâs another thing to rack up onto the list of incompetent actions of Garrosh.
Use a Magical Nuke to blow up a city, and then while you have complete military superiority in the area donât immediately recover the nuke and let it fall into the hands of a powerful Mage whoâs city you just blew up.
damn the only character they donât shield in plot armor, is also one of the best imo.
I hope they do more things like this⌠Jaina next? since sheâs a murderer and all?
