[Spoilers] Burning of Teldrassil ignored

You act as if lore discussions don’t happen elsewhere on the internet. Even in game.

Context of the post you quoted.

Hm.

As a thought, there were some NPCs datamined from Ardenweald that had names suggesting they were actors in a play. I’m pretty sure I remember one for Sylvanas and one for Tyrande, however - so they might be the way for future players who didn’t play BfA live to learn the events of the Burning.

one of the ways, a new future player if they wanted, after hitting 60 could go back, and do bfa in the way we do it right now and experiance the battle of lorderan and the old intros for zanda and KT, they wherent removed just excluded for new players

What will we do without your endless optimism and wide range of interests?

They won’t read anything that isn’t complementary of them.

No conflict in the dojo.

It looks like the Forsaken text might have already been changed, so…

To what though?

“Raised into undeath, the Forsaken have built a bold future out of the ruins of a darkened past.”

That is admittedly significantly better. >_>;

Yea, that’s indeed a lot better.

But the message of Teldrassil being ignored has still been sent.

Just for clarity sake, he is given free will by the curse of the Forsaken.

The reason why this matters, is because the curse of the Forsaken conflicts with the curse of the Scourge, and if never tended to, depending on their willpower, sooner or later succumb to a mindless state as a result of the Scourge curse overtaking them.

The Forsaken isn’t just a political body. There is a unique nature to their curse that makes them a subsection of undead, even if that difference is that it is the curse that grants them free will.

Which sort of loops back to the underlying theme of the Forsaken: The exploration of the human condition and how it fits with undeath. How do they proceed in a world that has so suddenly flipped upside down and so violently turned against them, what is an appropriate sacrifice of one’s beliefs in the name of survival, what bridge is too far? Do they live in denial, grow to be something else, to succumb to the hatred spewed by former countrymen and become the monster they are accused of being?

That is what makes them interesting, even as a political body.

Yeah sounds a lot less stupid than the other one. If only we could fix the whole “sweeping Teldrassil under the rug” part as easily.

I think many players gloss over that part. Many of the Forsaken posters I see want to abandon their humanity outright.

So let me get this straight. You and a lot of people here aparently think Blizzard will butcher an already bad plot because…

THE DUDE THAT ASKED BLIZZARD IF DIABLO IMORTAL WAS AN APRIL FOOL’S JOKE SAID IN A COMMENT?

MY GOD! He isn’t even a developer! He’s just a dude!

If I go to my twitter and say ‘‘Hey Blizzard will make Sylvanas sing cumbaya with Tyrande while they talk about girl stuff in Shadowlands’’ does that mean it will happen? No!

Jesus people! Check your sources!

Is this a joke comment or are you a bit confused? The Lore red shirt guy isn’t the same that asked the question about diablo immortal.

Also it’s not that he claimed anything - it’s that he was talking about datamined things.

So long as crazy Tyrande lives she’ll blurt it across any Alliance gathering she happens to stumble across as often and as loudly as possible.

At least until Sylvanas is dead anyway which by all accounts so far isn’t happening fast.

Ian Bates aka the Redshirtguy. It’s the same dude. A 5 second google search confirms it.

Also where is this datamining link? Why isn’t anyone else talking about it?

https://twitter.com/dontinquire

This is the guy from diablo immortal and:

https://twitter.com/theredshirtguy

this is the red shirt guy from wow (lore).

You seem to confuse those 2.

Actually, a ton of people have been talking about it, some about other things. You can see all the new datamined stuff on wowhead most of the time: https://www.wowhead.com/news

Even so. Is he a developer? Where he took this information? Cause I don’t see him explaining that on his comment.

I’m not gonna say Blizzard isn’t stupid enough to do that kind of stuff. But I’m not gonna buy it just because some random dude on the internet said it.

Aaand you didn’t post the wowhead news link wich is a much more credible source of information instead of some guy’s comment because…??

What? You wanted attention? Like always?
