Spoiler: Garrosh Hellscream

Vol’jin definitely was killed too soon, even though his interactions with garrosh has been confrontational from the get go he still became a warchief who did. . . Nothing, really blizzard just shafted the horde.

It was total shafting, and Vol’jin deserves to return.

If Blizz makes him a Loa and pulls some dumbass “Loa can’t be directly involved” or some such, then making him a Loa was a mistake. Vol’jin should return. Not just be around.

I was sooooo annoyed watching Vol’jin getting cut down in legion cause what was the point of making him warchief to begin with? Did they not actually plan to use him the entire time?

Apparently they always intended for Sylvie to be made Warchief.

Which makes it so much worse on Blizzard’s part.

It’s just terrible story planning. It was also bad for Sylvanas character, even taking into account her Shadowlands shenagians, she never should’ve been at the forefront. She should’ve manipulated this war from the shadows and just played both sides instead of leading one.

Most definitely, and worst possible choice for warchief as we see in BFA. Would’ve been happier with Lor’thremar being made warchief over Syl cause we would’ve avoided bfa.

Also Vol’jin was such a cool character from design to voice to personality, yet they wasted him.

It’s just…

why did Sylvanas need to be Warchief to trigger this war? She absolutely could’ve baited the Alliance into starting a war and pretended to be a victim, and I think it would’ve been more in character.

Exactly, I’m not her biggest fan but she really didn’t need to be thrusted into the mantle of warchief for it. Maybe they did it due to inherent mistrust of the forsaken idk, just made no sense.

Well, at least we’re getting a new more powerful Voll’jin in Shadowlands. I wonder his powers will be when he becomes a new Loa.

But first, the Maw is for souls that are a threat to the Shadowlands, not for those who are “just” super-evil.

And second, aren’t we finding out that Arthas wasn’t supposed to be in the Maw either?

What threat is Arthas to the Shadowlands? Without his helm and sword what powers does he posses that could cause great harm to the balance that must be maintained?

Like I said, apparently he wasn’t supposed to go there either. Uther disobeyed orders and threw him in.

As your theory had just been confirmed it all makes sense. He sound have been in Revendreth but was robbed of that. Now they need to explain how the jailor got to Sylvanas. And honestly by the time she killed herself post WotLK I doubt she was deserving of Revendreth, at least not for long anyway.

Knowing Denathrius was the one torturing Garrosh I think he’ll end up in the Maw, not because he was unrepentant but because the Jailer wanted to use him as a weapon like we saw Den was trying to do Keal’thas. Thing is even then Garrosh wouldn’t be the first of these weapons, he’d be second next to Arthas. In my mind we’ll find Garrosh and Arthas hulked out on Anima to the point where they lost all sense of everything they were good or bad and are now just mindless machines of destruction and we’ll unfortunately have to destroy their souls completely driving home that what we did to them the Jailer wants to do to all souls pushing us that much harder to stop him.

Yeah this is what was said in Mag’har recruitment scenario. Funny, his AU version also betrayed the people he was supposed to stand up with for the sake of power.

They’re not really convincing with that claim.

No it isn’t. It’s for both. Kael’thas is not a threat to the Shadowlands in any way, shape, or form. One single, lone inquisitor has Kael’thas under her heel at the height of his sin (and thus power). He is still going to the Maw if he doesn’t repent, reform, and give up his sins.

Yet you think Garrosh should’ve just been thrown into the maw? I mean if Kael is your example garrosh is much weaker and easier to deal with on the whole revendreth repentance train.

I’m unsure why you’re bringing strength into this, but yes. Garrosh should have skipped go. He should not have collected 200 anima. He should’ve went straight to the Maw. He is, as admitted by the gold dragon flight, the most evil Garrosh of any and all timelines.

He belongs in the Maw for eternity.

I must’ve missed this. Where is it from?

The most evil Garrosh of all times still showed honor in Stonetalon? Ok

Well that’s unexpected to see Garrosh again.

" In countless potential timelines, he (Garrosh) was seen as a great hero to his people. Some called him the Horde’s greatest warchief. What you saw here was one of his worst possible incarnations. A waste. " - Anachronos during Mag’har recruitment scenario

He did one good act in a long morbid history of evil ones. One good act that was, as admitted by Blizzard, out of character for him.
