Spoiler: Garrosh Hellscream

It looks like our favorite orcish warchief is in Ravendreth and his sinstone must be HUUUUUGE! I’m surprised he’s in Ravendreth and not Maldraxxus.

I’m surprised he’s in Ravendreth and not The Maw.

Well according to Golding if it was for that bronze dragon that gave garrosh the plan to go to au draenor garrosh would’ve tried to become redeemed

Golding?

REDEMED?!?!?!:tired_face::face_with_symbols_over_mouth: He was about to start a second invasion on Azeroth! They can’t be serious.

I remember reading that in many of the potential timelines Garrosh would have been the greatest warchief of all times, but we got stuck with one of the worst possible timelines and as such Garrosh’s redemption was denied to him. Thank you Green Jebus! SMH!

If even the August Celestials could see a path for his redemption why not the Arbiter in Oribos? I hope he switches from Ravendreth to Maldraxxus cause I felt his sentiments and ruthlessness is more akin to them than the Ravendreth. Hopefully we can help ease his sinstone.

Oh in practically all timelines garrosh was the best warchief, but being left in charge so early on by thrall and having Cairne challenge him to a duel that garrosh won dishonorably unbeknownst to him hear negative ramifications.

That was after kairohz? The bronze drake gave him the idea. If he had been left to actually ruminate in his actions he would’ve seen how dishonorable he had been,

You’ve lost me now.

Same. He should be in the Maw. He self-admitted he was as evil as Arthas.

The bronze dragon from the timeless isle, he was the one that gave garrosh the plan to go to au draenor to make another horde. Garrosh just took that and decided to go for revenge cause he was given an out instead of allowed to actually think of what he did.

Arthas is only in the Maw because Uther and Devos put him there.

Uther: I too would like to understand. Please, lead the way.
Uther: My training as an Aspirant was difficult. I remembered nothing of my life.
Uther: Every time I close my eyes, I see my death. I see… him… standing before me, that cursed blade in hand…
Uther: Devos convinced me that my death was wrong. She promised me justice.
Uther: What we did to him was not justice. It was vengeance.
Uther: Lysonia was no different. I did not know that they wielded the same darkness…

Uther and Devos clearly weren’t the ones examining Garrosh… Only the Arbiter examined him it seems.

Oh wow, if that’s true that’s quite a development.

Well then. I was under the assumption that Garrosh would just be ignored, not have a potential redemption arc.

Count me in!

That I knew. And Wrathion was in on it too I believe.

I didn’t read Warcrimes but wasn’t Garrosh most unrepented about what he had done?

Oh he was a jerk in war crimes but according to Christie if he had not broken out he would’ve sought redemption.

That doesn’t even line up with his characterization. Garrosh asking for forgiveness/seeking redemption?!?!!?!?! Golden is a complete moron!

In what timelines? By the Bronze Dragonflight? Hack frauds empowered by the “Titans,” the people that don’t know even what the Shadowlands are?

Which was honestly what the Celestials wanted with their whole, no one is beyond redemption thing.

But I suppose our Garrosh wasn’t interested in redemption, he just wanted to piss on everything but that point lol

Also it’s worth pointing out, that Garrosh as a person is very very influenced by those around him. When he had Saurfang around he showed signs of getting a more leveled head, when he had axe crazy yes men around him, he got increasingly axe crazy himself. I wouldnt be surprised if a couple of years in a Pandaria wouldn’t rub off on him.

Well they wanted him to receive redemption but like I said garrosh was broken out before he could actually ruminate over his actions.

Yes and no. Definitely wasn’t repentant in the end, claiming he’d do it again if he could. However, Anduin seemed to have made a few cracks in his worldview with all his peace talk (and vice versa), to the point Garrosh was unable to answer some of Anduins questions at all like “What if the Alliance had joined you?”.

He probably felt justified simply because he knew he was being busted out.
