I boosted my toon using the level 70 boost from pre ordering the war within. I mainly PVP, I only got one [Splintered Spark of Dreams] dropped from the weekly pvp quest and that was it. I finished the first chapter of the emerald dreams so I was able to turn in the sparks quest where you turn in one Spliter sparks for a whole sparks.
But after 20-30 + Arena, countless BGs, many many PVP boxes I get 0 drops of the Splintered Spark of Dreams. is my account glitch??

yes I boosted on Tuesday, I have read that info you send me. But I gotten Splintered Spark of Dreams from BGs and arena before. but this time it didn’t drops for me, not a single sparks. IDK if the level boost have issue.

That is unlikely, Pikacho. If you were able to receive the Splintered Spark of Dreams from the weekly task, then you should qualify to also receive them from the catch up mechanic.
Please keep in mind, these drops from the catch up mechanic are not guaranteed. It is likely that you are experiencing some bad luck. Try doing other tasks if you can, and see if your luck shifts.
I boosted a rogue, Im not getting splinters either. I was the first day, none since.
Same here on my latest TWW boosted druid. Have run over a hundred arenas, a handful of skirms. Zero sparks from pvp. Either not dropping or at least feels very unlucky post patch. Not very “catchup” for pvp mains out there.
Only sparks on the character are from;
1- weekly quest
2- intro to sparks quest (trade half in for full one)
3+4 - A few LFR bosses after getting desperate last night
If you think there’s a bug for them to investigate, you’ll want to post on the Bug Reports Forum.

That would be my recommendation as well. With multiple examples QA has a better chance of determining if there is an issue and maybe a fix for it if they can verify it.
I have a fresh 70 that I am also not getting any sparks on. I only got one from Malicias Horde and then turned that into Lady Moonberry to form one spark.
I have done over 100 2’s/3’s and 120 shuffle rounds. No sparks. I also tried battleground blitz as someone said that dropped sparks for them but after 6 rounds no dice there either. I’m thinking something with this patch stopped them from dropping from PvP activities.
I had people tell me they removed the sparks from weekly quest limit, but I can confirm that is not true. I did the PvP weekly and the 1500 emerald dream weekly and was only given a spark for the PvP weekly. So it does appear you can only get one from a weekly quest per week.
I’ve heard LFR is the best way to farm them so I may have to do that. Will see if I can get some to drop. Been spamming arena and blitz for 3 days straight and nothing. Thinking we have to look elsewhere. My main has 8 completed sparks from arena only so I don’t know what really changed. Tons dropped for him and now on my alt I can’t get anything.
This doesn’t mean it’s a confirmed bug.
You have no proof they aren’t investigating, just that there is no fix yet.
If you feel like this why are you paying for it?
I would realy watch your tone just like ingame silences and suspenions the forums have those as well.
I’m having the same issue…bg wins, shuffle wins, 2s wins, the pvp weekly quest that rewards a lootbox…none have dropped a splinter.
The issue is happening on a recently boosted character (the toon i’m posting on).
I can confirm what people are saying. I only pvp, and have gotten sparks from boxes in the past or from wins whatever. The point is the only way I’m getting them now is by doing the quest for the box.
Heres the thing vtrak or orlyia doesnt pass along feedback sugfestions or complaints or bugs you need to post in bug forums where your voice will be heard.
I submit a ticket a few days ago and was told :
" After some investigation, it appears there’s a bit of weekly magic at play here. You see, you can only receive one Splintered Spark of Dreams per week from our dedicated PvE or PvP weekly quests. If you’ve already snagged a half-spark this week from one of these quests, you won’t be getting another until the reset next week."
Im not buying this. I boosted my rogue last week, got ONE splinter, turned in quest for 2, and have gotten NOTHING since. How can my rogue “catch up” with this mechanic? I do not PVE, and do not want to be forced to do it either just to craft pieces.
Vrak already touched on this above. If you want to get the others in the catch up, you’d need to do other events that’d award such for a chance at them.
Ahh yes, I see this now. I just found it hard to believe that I had 4 character get them in abundance. I have 6 full sparks just sitting on pally with no use. Then all of a sudden, my boosted rogue gets none. Just made me think something was broken…
I’m not sure if this has been stated elsewhere yet, I’m just getting back from my weekend, but I wanted to confirm this is being looked into.

Same issue. Plentiful drops on all non boosted toons up to this point (7 488-489 pvp focused chars), hit cap in a week or two easy. 30+ wins in bgs, blitzs, 2s on boosted toon. No victory splinters, no loot box splinters, no lfr splinters. Only splinters from weekly and Merintha(sp?) ED intro quest rewards.
Was hoping weekly reset issue w/ boosted toon, but no drops tonight.
