Can you please explain why you think that’s an arguable defense on WoW becoming worse and more similar to those games?
I’m 100% serious. How do you honestly think saying “Well, WoW’s not THAT bad yet…” an arguable defense on them becoming that bad…?
Imagine thinking spending more money to a company (you’re assuming he spends more than you. If he spends less than $70 he spends less than you and a single month sub is only $15), then defending their decision to take in-game content you already pay for and charge their fan base more money for it…

Already had the sub months ago. And the expansion is delayed, but the game is still playable. Lots of folks still playing. It’s awesome you’re doing other things that make you happy, just as those who continue to play WoW are doing. And those who had 6 month subscriptions received a complimentary mog at no additional cost.
But yes, let’s continue to pointlessly beat this dead horse.

You either commit 6 months or pay 20$. What if blizzard said ah covid and stuff. Sl is gonna be delayed for another year. We aren’t giving you anything new. Enjoy prepatch for another year. You’d be okay commiting 6 months to nothing?
Hell I’d even be okay with them rewarding it to people if they had been consecutively subbed for 6 months. Needing to buy 6 months at a time is absolutely garbage. Some people can’t afford that and others shouldn’t be required to commit 6 months of game time to something that they have no idea if they will like.

speculation at best more likely it would be the blizzcon goodie like those stupid pajamas . “free” with a six month sub, 20 bucks if you like to waste money on a ugly mog and dont need the six month buffer.
They’ve had 15 years to become completely mtx monetized, in a market that does much much worse, and yet they have not.
That’s the historical evidence.

I used to be a schmo that would farm gold to pay my sub, but that ended up being most of my play time. And farming gold is like worse than a mcdonalds job, far worse pay wise. It’s like the worse sweatshop job you can find pay wise.
Would not recommend. I guess it’s free, or profitable, if your time is absolutely worthless.

Meh it sucks to get but it’s not quite as bad as media outlets and social media are making it out to be. I had it back in February. Just lots of rest take care of yourself and do what you can to keep any inflammation down. Really serious reactions go see the doctor.
I don’t even have 300k in game because I spend it on in game stuff.
