The question then becomes, if its something they weren’t going to do anyway because of limited funds, could funding it via the cash shop make it happen?
It’s quite possible.

Doesn’t matter, I’m going to state my opinion. If children want to gang up and pick on and harass me it doesn’t matter…but I’m glad you’re willing to admit people do harass me purely because I’m stating my own opinion.
Literally never said it was. If you actually read the OP I clearly say “It SHOULD have been”
Amen.
Right?
Imagine thinking spending $80 and not playing for the full 6 months is “saving money” in comparison to the person who spends buys 1-3 month subs when they know they’re going to actually be able to play or the content is worth supporting. Those people clearly don’t know what vote with your wallet means. Truly brainwashed.
I don’t know why you’re posting this. In my OP I said it SHOULD have been a reward for a quest like this not that it was going to be.
But I know you and others have a hard time reading. You’re forgiven, this time.
It is an in game quest, it ends with you buying 2 WoW tokens on the Auction House and converting them into Blizzbalance and buying the transmog.
I haven’t had this much fun farming salt in a long time, xmog was worth every penny of that $20.00
They could have at least been reasonable and made the transmog only cost exactly one token. I don’t really care that much since I think the mog is hideous but just saying.
The cost of tokens fluctuates though.
Unless you meant it should have cost $15.
Is this ANOTHER thread on the exact same topic you’re already discussing?
Yep OP desperate for attention, etc.
The balance they give doesn’t.
Yeah I got that and edited my post, but you had already seen it
But you’re completely okay with Blizzard putting more in-game content into the cash shop and charging us more in the future, as there’s a tab and you completely don’t care about the rest of the fan base that doesn’t pay in 6 month chunks.
Doesn’t affect me, so I don’t care. Yet eventually it will effect everyone, It’s not just about you…
Careful, these people will argue with you non-stop that it truly is free and that they didn’t spend any money at all on it.

Right?
It’s because Blizzard is afraid of people voting with their wallets when the expansion does come out.
They did this same thing for BFA pre-launch, remember? Gave away a “free” mount while taking away peoples ability to vote with their wallet. I can guarantee you there was more than one person who regretted that choice…
Or we could tell Blizzard we don’t want things like transmog going into the shop and have it made into a quest that we can do for fun in-game instead.
Saying “they could be worse” is not a valid argument on them becoming worse…sorry.
Oh no, there’s people who literally say It’s fun and that everyone should think It’s fun. That farming gold is more fun than actually doing the activities that were designed to be fun in the game.
I think they meant it was never going into the game because they knew people would pay more for it in a cash shop. I wouldn’t doubt this.
If their funding was limited for transmog how did they make this transmog?
No, it’s showing a historical record. Learn to read.
I was talking about worgen.
The cash shop item appears to be independent of the base game, despite this “speculation.”
Because they let you take extra from the cookie jar if you can show you will make it back + some.
Note: I doubt it had anything to do with this. It was very likely going to be the Blizzcon reward, but the above holds true nonetheless.
Honestly? The cash shop has obviously been a success for them and they have a budget and likely projects for cash shop items.
As soon as you make 10 threads about the other vender pricey items in game.
In general, I 100% agree with you. I just think with the timing and similarity (transmog) to last years Blizzcon item that this one in particular had initially been earmarked for that.
They should add BE hair for VEs to cash shop lol. Talk about a cash cow.
I think people you will get your 10 threads on the cost of other vendor items once SL hits!
And the fact that they just released that mount? I am not saying this item was specifically destined for the cash shop, but just that I’m sure this is now it’s own group with goals and objectives in the company.
