For example, I have Burning Rush talented on my Warlock; if I switch to demonic armour and then go to a loading screen (any loading screen for example going into Orgrimmar, not talking about Ghast) then it vanishes off of my action bar and I have to re-select the talent for it to show up again but it then goes to the first available slot as if it was a new spell, not to the slot that I had it before it vanished. It’s a gigantic pain when talking about multiple conditional talents and happens across all toons
Bump.
Please take a look into this.
It happens with Wailing Arrow and Camouflage. Those are the only two spells I have confirmed for Hunter.
So I’m not sure what the deal is here, but I know certain other people have had an issues similar to this.
In that thread, I suggested making a macro similar to:
#showtooltip
/cast [talent: 5/2] Holy Avenger
/cast [talent: 5/3] Seraphim
Whereas you would replace the 5/2 with the row and column of the talent you want to use, along with the spell names obviously.
So for your hunter, you could make a macro like this:
#showtooltip
/cast [talent: 3/2] Natural Mending
/cast [talent: 3/3] Camouflage
And, for Wailing Arrow, you could just do:
#showtooltip
/cast Wailing Arrow
Toss them on your bars, and they should stay on (hopefully!) throughout loading screens and the like.
You can also look into resetting your UI if you haven’t already done so, although that hasn’t seemed to have helped the players in the other thread. Still, it might work out for you.
Good luck!
Bumping this because some spells cannot be properly macroed (i.e. Inner Light and Shadow, which casts “Inner Light” then “Inner Shadow”, then cancelauras and casts “Inner Light” again…)
Would love to simply disable this feature so that I don’t have to reset my bars every time I step into a raid.
(Is there a hidden variable that we can toggle to disable this behaviour?)
