Spellcleave groups are amazing

They have added even more proof to how nerfed 1.12 actually is.
Do people really think this mass pulling was possible pre patch 1.10? Seriously? Not unless you were way over leveled it wasn’t, but that’s not what’s happening in Classic. It’s appropriate level groups clearing dungeons in two pulls or less…
Saddest part is so many players still refuse to believe that Vanilla WoW was ever any harder than this.
Will Blizz address this? I hope so.
What a shame.

I find lots of complexity, difficulty, and enjoyment from classic wow.

I don’t really care that people out there find the paths of least resistance. The way they play and experience the game has zero bearing on how I play and experience it.

Sounds really boring to me. Like farming rifts in Diablo 3. I usually form my own group, and I don’t stack particular classes. More fun to run dungeons the old fashioned way, IMO.

since you are alliance and you dont know the joys of improved windfury totems for the warriors and rogues in your melee cleave group ill tell you and yes i run 2/2 improved windfury totems.

its pretty good to.

Explain how it wouldn’t have been possible before patch 1.10. Go on, show us some math and evidence to solidify your claim.

how does him playing back then or not prove you couldn’t mass pull? just because a strategy wasn’t used commonly doesn’t mean it couldn’t be done.

Players are a lot smarter and better than they were 15 years ago.

Like retail or not, the game got harder when folks got more skilled. Classic was hard at the time, Naxx especially so, but mechanically basically anything in classic will be a cakewalk to current mythic raiding. That’s what players are used to, so coordinated mass pulling naturally won’t be very hard as it’s pretty straightforward

telling people “you wouldn’t understand” just because they didn’t play actual vanilla doesn’t make you right.

AOE farming groups existed in vanilla

Players found all sorts of exploits and clever uses of abilities and groups

Coordinated mass pulling prior to 1.10 would be an insta whipe for the players back then AND for the players of today. Did you really not know that the patch history clearly states massive nerfing from 1.10 onward?

It had NOTHING to do with strategy or skill. It was literally impossible since you would be dead in seconds.
