Spell knockback

I know it was cata it was nerfed last time, but it has to be done in cold wow.

Does it? I don’t think so. Pushback is fine.

I agree – nerf Rogues. Specifically Blind.

Or we can buff Scatter Shot to be a 10 second disorient on a 30 second cooldown. That might be hilarious.

( but seriously nerf Rogues )

4-5sec of knockback is stupid

Ask a resto for an earthshield or plan around it. Caster classes are currently balanced around pushback. Pushback is fine.

Ask for a paladin’s concentration aura

Play fire mage

There was a pushback buff in wotlk I thought. I was pretty sure you become pushback immune after two pushbacks on a single cast.

Most classes/specs have at least 70% innate pushback resist talents available in WotLK. Arcane mage have 100% available. Paladin concentration aura stacked with those talents pretty much has everyone at 100% pushback resist.

When are you just sitting there hard casting in a situation that’s giving you spell pushback? Serious question I’m uninformed.

Daggers don’t need nerfing. I propose instead a counter-nerf to all the stupid weapons, specifically swords. They are dumb.

I heard there was a 2 pushback cap in wrath.

You’re already at 100% with earth shield or concentration aura.

Druids first.

You obviously haven’t played elemental bc once a rogue or warrior is on you there is no getting away, all you can do is hard cast/light shield/searing totem and hope for the best.

Ele shaman has 0% pushback resistance from talents. Pushback is not fine. That’s why it was changed for wotlk.

I guess I just don’t care as much since I’m over TBC and on to Wrath at this point.

Gets better in Wrath is all I can tell you!

Isn’t spell pushback in WotLK something like it happens 3 times then nothing happens after that?

I hope but i thought it wasn’t until cata

Spell Pushback Revamp

  • When casting a spell:

o The first and second hit will add .5 secs each to the cast time.
o All hits after the second will have no effect.

  • When channeling a spell:

o The first and second hit reduces current duration by 25% of total duration each.
o All hits after the second will have no effect.

This looks to be a positive sign for casters in WoTLK

This is ripped off a forum, I’ve seen 3 forums saying this exact thing from ~13 years ago.
