Everyone in an LFR and Normal raid that I did noticed that certain spell ground effects (fire puddles on The Primal Council, for example) and ground spell reticles (Sigil of Flame for example) are invisible, but they are there, they are just not visible. I know they are there, but invisible because the fire on Primal Council still did damage when you were standing in it and showed the fire effect around the edges of your screen, the puddle was just invisible.
I have also been informed by a guildy that if you move your camera to the correct angle the spell effect will show up, but only with very specific camera angles it disappears and comes back as you move it around.

I too would like to add my voice to the mix. I just ran the first wing of LFR, so I can get my bullion before raid, and could not see half the ground effects. Something’s broke.
Same issue here. All the fire puddles are not showing in first wing…

This issue appears to be on all Raid difficulties. was impacting heroic as well, unsure if Raz is impacted yet
Recommended settings have been tried for video settings, projected textures is enabled and the particle density has been set to ultra this has not improved this.
have tried fully maxed video settings and lowest video settings same results.
prefer to not have to delete WTF folder.
I and several guildies are also having this issue.
Same Issue on 2 different characters in LFR and Normal currently.
All settings set up correctly, with projected on and what not. Only been happening since todays reset.

Happening on Diurna if your camera angle is wrong for Diurna heroic, with the fire circles.
Happened in mythic Council. Manually swapped to Direct X 11 and targeting circle and floor effects returned.

this is making primal council almost impossible. would love to hear from blizzard that this is being looked into
Swap to Direct X 11. doesn’t look pretty but it works.
Happening here too - DX12, RTX 3070ti, NVIDIA Driver 552.44 (5/9/24). Spell effects will go in and out (during/after telegraph), and sort of even seems to be related to camera angle, but not always?
Hopefully fixed soon so we aren’t forced into using DX11, but that did appear to fix it temporarily for me as well.
DX11 seems to work for now, but I really hope that we at least get some sort of acknowledgment on this bug.

This was happening week 1 of the season in VOTI and they somehow made it worse this week. Ridiculous. Diurna’s fire bombs in p2 are a nightmare.
Can confirm that swapping to DirectX 11 fixed it for me.
Updating to add here that the issue, in addition to getting worse inside VOTI this week, seems to have expanded elsewhere. Wasn’t able to see Heroic Leap or Deep Breath ground-target reticules in Mythic Ny’alotha this afternoon.
Same issue here, came here to report it, switching to DX11 for now.
