I’m having huge world ping spikes here. All other apps are fine right now. Just blizzard services have huge world ping spikes. Spectrum customer here in case that’s important.
I’m also on Spectrum and we have been having issues with lagging service today with them. Not just WoW, but every site I have been to has had some issues with hanging.
Yea I’ve some issues this weekend in general. But then again, its worse with wow.
Yep, I’m also having lag with Spectrum, but it’s affecting all services not just WoW. Guildies on Spectrum also experiencing issues everywhere.
Howdy!
We are seeing an increase of high latency and desynces(Unable to interact with objects or use the logout button) in World of Warcraft within the last week from Spectrum users. What is interesting is we are not seeing a spike with other Internet Service Providers. With the limited reports we have we are not seeing any clear packet loss or higher than normal latency along the route. We do recommend contacting Spectrum about this issues so they are made aware of it and we also would like to investigate if you have a moment try the following steps:
- Perform basic connection troubleshooting located Here. Retest to see if you notice a difference.
- Does this issue occur all day long no matter when you play? How long does it take to disconnect normally?
- Try to capture a disconnect or desync with a 10-minute long WinMTR. Post this data back here for review.
Thank you!
I haven’t had any disconnects, but have had the desyncing issue a few times over the past few days. Only seems to happen in the afternoon around 3-7pm Pacific. Didn’t have the issue when using a hotspot from my phone instead. Spectrum says there is nothing wrong on their end and there is no packet loss or latency issues on a WinMTR either.
im having the same issues but it has now resulted in dc’ing immediately after log in. no other games or programs are having issues. i cannot play wow at all. im also a spectrum customer
Ongoing problem since last server reset. The moment that I login the game immediately disconnects to error (WOW51900319). At first I thought that it was an Add On Issue and began the trial and error of finding the culprit/out of date addon to no luck. I was able to play briefly Tuesday and Wednesday with limited addons but the DC’d would still happen randomly.
I have read several threads and saw a few similar issues and I am also a Spectrum customer (CST).
I just ran the WinMTR program and here are the results. I have no idea what this means but any feedback or recommendation would be appreciated.

im having the exact same issue and also a spectrum user. i literally cant even play the game because of the constant dc’s after logging in. this has been happening all day for me. ive disabled addons but the dc continues anyway.
Hopefully spectrum will find a solution soon for this. Or maybe wow’s team can get them to move the ball. Either way something has to give lol.
I am running into this issue. I am also a Spectrum client. Just keeps d/cing me continuously for a little bit then it stops. I will try to run the WinMTR to see if I can capture anything.
Also Spectrum, located in Florida. This issue has been ongoing for about a week (last Thursday during raid at around 10pm EST was the first time I noticed it), before that I hadn’t had any issue aside from a random DC once in a blue moon. Everything will be find for long stretches of time, but the moment anyone else in the household connects to the internet as well, I start disconnecting from WOW, the launcher, and am unable to access any blizzard sites. No one else is experiencing internet issues in the house, and I do not disconnect from discord and don’t appear to lose complete internet access, only blizzard/wow apps.
The Disconnects happen as frequently as every time I try to login to once every 5 minutes or so. I have tried shutting down other processes, repairing wow, shutting off addons, flushing my DNS, and pretty much everything else I can think of. I am on wifi and unable to physically plug into the modem, so I don’t know if that would fix the problem or not.

Update to this. It is only occurring on my Druid. No other character gets dc’d. I am in CST but not Florida.
There’s packet loss happening at the line going into your home. I’m also on Spectrum and in Florida, but no disconnect issues. I suspect everyone experiencing them is a bit north of me or to the far east (I’m on the Suncoast).
I was having the same issue, this led me to do a few things. I ended up scanning the game for scan and repair. Huge mistake. Now it scans, gets to 100% and then says something went wrong and restarts the scan. No way to login or stop it now.
Oh wow! that’s kind of major! good thing to note for the devs here.
I would also like to note, I do not have spectrum. I have United Communications fiber internet. Its a local company out here.
Then you would need to start your own thread as this is the main thread for the spectrum issue that is still ongoing. Now, it seems to be happening around 8pm Pacific time for about an hour each night.
I’m using spectrum (Tampa), and the game is literally unplayable. This is not the first time I’ve had problems with spectrum.
I cant play longer than 90 seconds before getting d/c
