They been slowly rolling them out with each patch. The hilarious moments are when the forums fill with “but it’s not fair, how I’m supposed to feel special when everyone else has one?”.
If Blizz honestly cared about the rarity or value of the Spectral Tiger or other TCG mounts the Fel Drake would have never made its way to being a Twitch Drop. Don’t care what Lyin Hazzitcostus says, it will be an emergency button to smack at some point for monetary reasons.

The best part is when people unironically demand a refund on the official WoW website when they bought their overpriced TCG card on eBay. Suddenly that mount “no one cares about” isn’t worth that couple thou some stooge just dropped for it. Good stuff.
I like that it turns all those coveted cards those resellers post on Ebay for hundreds into absolute nothing.

This is a kind of thinking I really can’t understand. How does someone else having a mount you have make you enjoy your mount less? Is your self-esteem really so low that you need “exclusive” things to feel worthy? I’m not trying to be nasty here. I’m sincerely trying to understand the thought process. Maybe if I understood why you feel this way, I could support your position.

Cause they crave the admiring and attention that they can’t find in real life through a fictional world.

I would buy this mount from the trading post even if I never used it, actually I don’t use most mounts just collect them but yeah I’m on board, lol.

Because many of us got them on more than one toon back in the day when it was not account bound when they first came out and they cost anywhere from 2 to 5 thousand dollars per mount so having 4 toons with them was a minimum of 8k spent and a max of about slightly over $20,000 on them and now you people are asking to get them for free.
Originally cost just over 60 dollars and has always been account bound. Over 30% of the player base at the time got it.
Was 600 to 700 max and was not that popular and many of the codes went unsold vs stuff that was even more expensive.
Cannot compare them to the TCG tiger mounts. Feldrake right now is about one tenth the price of one of those.
The tiger mount is on TCG right now for $8,995 by code, to get the actual card it is over $10,000 The fel drake is not even one tenth of that.
Personally I’d rather see the zulian tiger in the trading post over the spectral tiger. But I don’t think any mount is safe from the trading post. It’s just a card from years ago that people liked because they were rare. Especially when we didn’t have a trillion mounts available to get too.
So in other words you don’t want anyone else to have it this way you don’t have to come to a fact you wasted $20,000 actual dollars on polygons that will only exist as long as WoW is around.

Last time Blizz re released something that the playerbase didn’t like, their stock price dropped. Or they could re-release it for it’s current value which is from 8 to 10k and watch the money flow in. People have spent tens of thousand dollars from just one single person spending such as in Diablo where more than one player has spent over 10k and one person even spent over 100k. So they know people will still pay money for this stuff.
I used to give them out to people on Illidan realm that I did PvP with. And to my friends or if guild lead was doing good that I was in I would give them one. Lots of people have them already. You can go out and buy one easy.
