Physical objects cost more money to produce than digital ones. Strongly doubt Blizz will go that route. I did enjoy collecting them while they lasted though, and wouldn’t mind at all if they came back–at a reasonable price.
Just to be clear, i am in no way advocating for this course of action, but Blizzard would make a fortune if they just sold little digital loot card box thingies and stuff like the Spectral Tiger would be 1% drops, people would spam $20 a pop on those day in day out lol
Works for a bunch of other games
I don’t understand why people think the line should be drawn at the Spectral Tiger but other TCG mounts are perfectly fine lol
One of those games was Overwatch and I believe OW2 uses a completely different model due to legal battles and bad press of gambling
If I suddenly teleported a trillian dollars of whatever your country’s money is into your economy, how is it hurting you if it’s not taking away your money?
There is prestige in TCG mounts. If there isn’t then there is no presteige in any mounts at all since they are pixels in a video game. If that were true then life would be very bland the way you look at it.
Lets be real here most of you that have it from WoD duping and not through legitimate means. If they can’t have it then all duped mounts should be revoked as well.
Brother the mount is a light brown not black… Also that word is normal as a chicken is also referred to as that…
Yeah, but the average mind of a WoW player is in the gutter. Someone going to ask if they want to see it.
I figure every TCG item is fair game for rerelease through things like the BMAH and Trading Post. Whatever hasn’t yet been added to one of those two things, it’s just a matter of time if you ask me. Mounts in particular seem more likely for the BMAH though.
As an aside, it’s definitely not prestige keeping any TCG stuff from being reissued. Very few promotional items actually signify achieving something, if any of them do.
That is irrelevant because this is a video game and we’re talking about pixels, not a literal economy.
I’m not talking about currency; I’m talking about pixels. You choosing to spend your money on pixels doesn’t give those pixels value to anyone but you. Same concept as NFTs when they were around for those 3 weeks last year. No one cares how much you spent on pixels.
PREACH BROTHER
Envious of what? A couple pixel that people paid thousands of real life dollars for, or used a duplication bug to purchase for cheap with in game gold?
What is there to be envious of . The first is foolish, the second is an exploit.
Why? They aren’t special mounts. They’re purchase mounts. Nothing was earned, no achievements, nothing interesting. So, why shouldn’t they bring them back as they were? Only people who are gonna get offended are the people wasted cash or gold on a virtual item… that’s zero good reason to not bring it back.
