Just a quick question. So a couple of days ago I bought the Spectral Wind Rider with a horde toon and then I swapped to an alliance toon and bought the gryphon.
Yesterday a friend pointed out that he had frozen the gryphon and bought the wind rider and then it showed him that he already owned the gryphon as well without buying it already.
Did they changed something, so buying one unlocks the other one? Was it a bug or something?
Feel kinda bummed if I wasted the 650 tenders on the gryphon if it got unlocked with the wind rider.
Wow, I bought them both, as well… maybe we’ll get a refund??
I doubt it, if you haven’t already been refunded.
Can ask in the Customer Support forum but i wouldn’t count on it.
Altho it makes sense, since the mount specifically says its faction-locked. Other mounts in the shop have done this - award both factions with 1 purchase.

It does unlock both to get one, it’s confusing. But I bought the wyvern on my Horde and when I went to my Alliance character a bit later it said I had the gryphon already.
Well… this kinda sucks then… shouldn’t sell them like that in the TP…
I bought the wind rider the day they added it, but at the time it did not unlock both. Looking at the Trading Post now, and it shows both as being unlocked. 
It is indeed there though. Hopped on an Alliance character and there it is. An unexpected change, but not an unwelcome one.
I already hd them, but in the future buy 1 then switch right away and see if it triggers the other one before buying the other mount
I did just that when I bought the wind rider. I had no spectral gryphon. Didn’t buy the gryphon though because I had other priorities. It definitely wasn’t like this at the start. I’d say it worked out for me though. It’s a shame though that others spent the tenders only to have it unlocked for free later. Kind of a jerk move.

Does it take awhile to unlock for the opposite? I bought the horde version then logged into alliance and not there for me
