Are we going to see any more spec buffs in mop? The logs are in and some specs are doing 15% less damage than a DK over all
We don’t even have tier sets yet and outside a few outliers most specs are within 10% and HoF has a very different damage profile so I don’t think personally that we need more balance yet for most of it. They could do 3% pity buffs to the lowest but basically this is very incomplete data.
They did say that they didn’t want people to feel like they would have to reroll so I would expect most balance changes to happen each new patch release not really in between them.
OG MoP to me was most widely known for being able to play any spec in any setting and be able to succeed. We did not see that again until Legion. That being said, some classes will of course be stronger right now since we are week 3 and people are targeting specific items and stats, while others won’t get damage ramp until tier or higher stats - example being fire mages, they can’t exactly have mega crit bombs right now because we just don’t have the gear.
Play what you want and have fun, because you can tune a game but you can’t Tuna Fish.

Given how early into the phase we are, without tier and a large ilvl disparity, I wouldn’t expect any balancing to happen until much much later on.
In my raid team, our highest ilvl is 487 (DK) and our lowest is 472 hunter. And that does skew the rankings a bit too.
And looking at the actual logs, the balance is fairy good.

yes, of course, you got some outliers. But if later on some spec sky rockets and is like 30% ahead, then yeah, they will get slapped with some nerf/rework/scaling adjustment.

The only thing that really needs a change is nerf Vengeance by 75% and Nerf healing by the resilience value of the target in PVP
Yes, the next round of spec buffs are coming right after the Realm Mergers brought up over a year ago. They’ll be put in the queue, 100%.
Blizz should buff aimed shot by 20% and Chimera by 15% that would bring it on par with Surv hunters!
