As a Lifelong fan of the Defias story since I started this char as a Human back in 2007, I thought it was a good ending to it.

Meanwhile Anduin (who’s been shoved in our faces since MoP - far longer) is already back.
But yeah, people want to gripe about Sylvanas. Because everyone LOVES Anduin!

I wish that didn’t happen, but Danuser is his favorite, and there is nothing worse than turning her into a villain, turning him into something that would ruin all of WoW just with her presence.

Thanks, then I might give it a read. However, I’m not really keen on leveling a new character, as I’m planning to take a break from WoW soon when my subscription ends in a few days.
What made you change your character after playing as a human for so long?
Yep. Silvermoon gets bulldozed. A new one built. It’s going to be called castle Windrunner

I always wanted to be a Blood Elf Warrior but the dev mindset back then thought it was absolutely ludicrous that Blood Elves and the Warrior class was too much despite sprinkling Blood Elf Warrior NPCs everywhere… So when Cata came, I faction and race changed.

Considering that even Blood Elves in this game look like bodybuilders on steroids… that’s a really strange statement if the devs have actually claimed that before.

Anyways, in regards to Sylvanas, given her history with Quel’Thalas, I feel it would be silly if she didn’t play a part in it somehow during Midnight, that’s the only logical and acceptable reason for her to make a return. Anything else would be kinda silly and I’m a big Sylvanas Loyalist.

I wasn’t a loyalist, but people are wild thinking she won’t or shouldn’t be back with the well in danger once again, and her having reclaimed the other half of her soul.

love sylvanas, best warcraft character. notice all the haters are heavy retail players proving they just enjoy the terrible characters present in retail.
if it were up to them every character would be as cringe and boring as baine bloodhoof.

I feel like Sylvanas WILL return but i also feel like she will get some sort of redemption arc. Whether Midnight is the time or not i don’t know but it IS possible. Personally i think that she was done wrong in how she was handled to shoehorn in one of THE WORST CHARACTERS EVER in all of pop culture history in the Jailer and i do think they put her in the forefront for a VERY long time to make that happen. If i was Blizzard i would let her sit longer to make her return bigger…but with the current writing team, who knows. I have written extensively about the current writing team in numerous other threads but in short i don’t have a ton of faith in them as a whole, however DF is a move in the right direction.
Maybe the real Sylvanas will escape and rejoin us, and we find out the one who was warchief was Jaina In a Wig, all along.

I know I’m very much in the minority but I do hope they bring her back.
She’s a fictional character. Isn’t her fault blizzard writers made her story hot garbage. So the least they could do is smash enough braincells together to give her some form of proper redemption.
