Still bugged, but if you die, he apparently works. Just gotta kill him first when he's active if he jumps down. He jumped then locked on us first time; we ended up dying to the bugs flying around, then killed him. Three peeps running for xmog.

Yes, it's still a bug. Rather than log out ... or hearth and re-run all through it, just kill the bugs 1x1 until you reach Hasik the MANIPULATOR and let him summon those little bugs, then just run into one and you will insta-die. Much faster solution, then go try again.

In my experience, best way to not bug out the Swarmkeeper is to stay way at a distance when the Raid starts (out of the big circle) and just let them come attack you.

Most ridiculous time-consuming raid in the game, to be honest. And for no reason whatsoever.


I was able to feign to break the encounter when it happened to me yesterday. As you said, the best way to do this seems to just be letting the mobs come to you. Take your time killing them. if you 1/2 shot everything it will bug out every time. I just used serpent sting and left my pet on passive. It worked out fine that way.

Still happening. Re-ran this twice on LFR (killed blackfuse twice) to confirm. Once on the ledge stuck, once on the battlefield stuck and unattackable.

I’ve encountered a different bug with this fight: upon clicking the amber, Hisek the Swarmkeeper will drop down, but not be attackable. He’ll just stand there.

i’ve also encountered this - Hisek the Swarmkeeper would just be there, unattackable, enrages without attacking. i had to hearth back and re-enter the raid, take down the others slowly for him to work properly.

IDK if this can be a separated bug report but it is about the same boss.

This is literally still an issue. This was brought up ages ago.

Yeah, the bugs are still bugging out, lol. My friend and I still run SoO on the same toons, both in dps spec. We are even specifically careful now! But one of them (I think it’s Hisek) still glitches if you’re not careful enough.

Happened to me, I tried the trick of running to the side and letting them come to me. Didn’t matter, Hisek came down (one of the first ones) and was unattackable
